When I first arrived it was very dark. There was no light on outside, however the owner quickly remedied that by installing a new light.

It was very interesting and unique, definitely an English Cottage. The home has a nice kitchen to fix meals. Very quiet and quaint neighborhood. Mins from restaurants, movie theater, and shopping.

Great location with convenient access to restaurants and grocery stores. Very convenient to the Greensboro Aquatics Center (10 Minutes), the Coliseum and UNC-G. The notebook of information in the room was very detailed and helpful; the "funnies" in the back were quite entertaining. The British flag in the yard was helpful in correctly locating the house in the neighborhood, especially coming in after dark. Having access to a full kitchen is great if you are there for a long-term stay/prefer to cook meals. The parking across the street was very convenient. If you are looking for a room in quiet neighborhood with convenient access to shopping, parks and the major amenities of the city, the English Cottage is a great choice.

The room was a little warm. The sheets came out while sleeping...just too loosely on bed. Sheets bunch up while sleeping.

Location was delightful for our purposes. We walked a few blocks to b and b for coffee and walked to see our kids run in half marathon. Host was responsive when we had an issue getting into the unit.

Although it was clean it had dust in air like the filter needed to be changed, kept sneezing all night and my asthma kicked in, but otherwise the house was clean

The decor is the same as any older home, but that did not detract from my comfort in any way.

Can't beat the price. This is the type facility as any hotel room. Comfortable and clean bed, desk, closet, and private bathroom with toiletries. Great and easy communication with the host, Keith. Highly recommended.

I like the aesthetics, the ambiance, and I love Keith and Donna, who provide a consistently beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Everyone should check out the informative and funny notebook in each room entitled "Welcome to 708 East Lake Drive". If you like or need to laugh, it's a must read, and is as unique as the place.

I liked that I could get a good morning walk into downtown. I liked that it was quiet and the staff was very friendly. Beautiful neighborhood. There is a free Trolley that takes you around town. Keith has a binder with all the information you will need.

Everything was explained in a very nicely prepared binder. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent neighborhood. And, very importantly, the host was extremely accessible and most gracious.

The bathroom was hard to use due its small size. The room is not very soundproof so you hear a lot of people downstairs.

I liked the carpet and the variety of areas to sit. The TV and bathroom were very convenient. The whole area was very clean.

This little cottage was perfect!! Very close to the venue we were attending. Everything was comfortable and inviting. I've never stayed in a house with others but this was a great experience.

My only concern was parking. I missed the location once since it was dark, and I was looking for a house that had some parking with it as a cue that I had the right place. Upon circling back I saw the address (well lighted and big--my error) and parked in the driveway. The lady who was the attendant explained that guests usually don't have cars but use a rideshare and that I could park off the road on the other side of the street. If there is something about this parking arrangement in the posting or in the communication I received after booking, I missed it. Not sure it was there, and a heads up would have been nice.

Love the room, cozy and quaint. It was definitely quiet even though it was near one of the main arteries in Greensboro. Sent pictures to my daughter who said it looked like Colonial Williamsburg.
