The only drawback to our room (Room #1) is that it is right next to the restaurant/street and the room has a box unit for AC. When it was running we couldn't hear street noise but the unit did not have a way to run the fan continuously to drown out the noise and when it shut off, we heard EVERYTHING off and on til 3 am. Yes, it's Duval St., but even drinking didn't keep us asleep through it. The staff couldn't make the adjustment although they said the setting were correct for the fan to stay on all the time.

The staff was exceptional. We didn't want for anything and they even let us do some laundry as we booked a pleasure weekend on the front end of a work trip. The location is prime for all Duval St. shenanigans with lots of restaurants, shopping, and local "color", exactly what this part of Key West offers. Old Town Tavern is also adjoining so very convenient for food and drinks.

I would maybe recommend white noise machines. Duval street was typically noisy, but expected. No real issues there. What wasn't expected were the wild roosters crowing in the overnight hours. Obviously not reflective of the hotel in any way, but what may be an added bonus is to have a white noise machine available in the room to drown that out.

Staff was wonderful and check in/check out was simple. Location was right in the middle of Duval Street. Tons of things within walking distance.

The bed could use an update, which was very uncomfortable. Maybe a memory foam topper would help. More hangers in the closet, ours only had 4. Our shower had a slow drain but didn't cause us any problems. A couple of the nails out on the patio need to be hammered back down a bit so someone doesn't cut their foot on them.

The location can not be beat. Right on Duval Street. We were checked into our room quickly without any trouble. The clerk showed us right to our room and even carried a suitcase. Our room was on the second floor, which was OK. There is no elevator, so the only choice is to take the stairs. We had a huge patio area, which was beautiful to sit out on in the morning. Now the room...it was small but perfect for what we needed. A queen size bed (which was very firm and harder than what we prefer) (could use an updated memory foam), small refrigerator, small table and chair, a small closet that only had 4 hangers(could have used more) and a fairly larger bathroom than we were expecting with a large walk in shower. The room was super clean and smelled clean. Trying to figure out how to work the AC unit was a bit confusing, but we managed and was able to keep the room comfortable. The Old Town Tavern is connected right next door and is an amazing place to eat. We were told that they offered a small breakfast, but we didn't partake in it during our stay. The front desk clerk was very helpful in providing us with information on the taxi service to the airport. We will be booking again and we were told that they offer a discount for return guests.

The rooster. There was a rooster right outside our balcony and woke us up at 3:30 am. It’s not the properties fault because they are around but next time I may stay toward the beaches and away from downtown. Maybe there will be less of them. The pool area was not conducive to laying out. The area around the pool didn’t have much space.

This place was very clean and the staff were very nice. There was a bar/restaurant downstairs that was very convenient. Continental breakfast was pastries, yogurt coffee, water.

My room was right next to the court yard restaurant so i had to walk pass the diners. It also meant that it could get a bit noisy through the day and especially in the morning as they were cleaning up or removing the trash. However, my room was the lowest rate. I would still stay at this hotel/room.

Casablanca is such a wonderful place to stay while in Key West. Front desk was so accommodating and so delightful. We had a wonderful room with balcony which was super cozy. You have full use of the home and you truly feel as if you are at home. Location is very convenient to eateries and shops. Will be back!

Only stayed 1 night on a trip from Miami but the place was well located in the busy Duval street but was still quiet at night. Room was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A small breakfast is also provided. Free parking nearby was suggested by the staff.

Alot of noise. I think there was a sick rooster trying to cock-a-doodle do.. Garage collection was outside my balcony. Noisy when bar closed and dumped garbage (bottles) and in early morning when garbage was collected.
