The room was freezing but they did turn up the heat and provide an extra blanket when requested. The bathroom with just a toilet should include a sink. It’s gross to have to touch things on your way back to your room without washing your hands

Location U.S. consumer, there are restaurants, cafes, bus stops all within walking distance. Beds and lounge area and comfy and clean.

Good Value, Prepare for some noise

    • Private Euro Room

Non-hostel: This is a hubbub-y area, and there are at least two nightclubs within half a block, which, along with foot traffic and car stereo noise, could be a problem for some travellers, but is to be expected for hostels in busy areas like this one. If you are driving into town, make sure to do some research in advance regarding parking. There is a lot one block away that has an arrangement with the hostel and provides discounts for their customers, but it was still ~$45 for two nights, which is very high. This is close enough to some residential neighborhoods that you can likely park in for free if you don't mind the hike, but bear the weather in mind when making this decision and make sure that you are taking note of plowing and parking signs. Hostel: There were some fees which were not disclosed at booking that, had I known about them, would have affected my choice of room. Approximately $85 a night for a private room is a steal, but with additional fees and taxes, my room was about $15 more per night than advertised, and I would have downgraded rooms had I know this or been provided a more accurate estimate in advance.

The facilities are wonderful. I had a private room on the second floor, bathroom/shower facilities were very clean and well maintained as well as easily accessible. A nice library/common area, and the shared kitchen facility was always clean and well maintained as well. I saw custodial staff performing cleaning at regular intervals multiple times a day. Staff was friendly, and you can be as sociable or anti-social as you like. There is a cafe in the lobby that serves ice cream and coffee with some pastries, and there are plenty of places to eat and drink in very close proximity to the hostel.

They give me a better room on my arrival, so that was great. Room was clean, spacious.

A good place to lay your head close to Denver city center
    • Leisure trip
    • Solo traveler
    • Bed in 4-Bed SHARED Male Dormitory Room
    • Stayed 1 night

There are very few facilities - lavatories, showers - for the amount of people that the place can accommodate. This means high level of wear and tear, and while that the staff are very attentive to comments on such issues, they do tend to affect the experience of the stay and should be considered when booking. Also, take note that while there are lockers at each room, dedicated to each bed (I stayed in a two double-bunkbed room, so we had four lockers) they are quite small and will not fit any suitcase of any size. You also need to bring your own lock - or buy one at the desk.

the hostel is located right in front of a bus station of Broadway street, which is a 10 minute walk from the city center and some of its best sites. I was there for a convention, and so stayed at the hostel for two non-consecutive nights. This place is great if you are merely looking for a place to lay your head - as its facilities are very spartan, though adequate. Its two main strengths are location and the staff, which I found to be very attentive and helpful.

The communications on hostel total price were confusing. The email from the hostel stated I needed to pay the hostel on arrival when I had already paid Booking.com. The pricing breakdown by Booking.com was very confusing. KEEP IT SIMPLE. The customer needs to be able to compare final price on an equitable basis. The deal between Booking.com and the accommodation provider is irrelevant. Customer is only interested in final price comparisons.

There was only an individual toilet with no hand basin closest to our room, and the showers down that end had terrible pressure. Had to walk to the other end of the building to use the better bathrooms. Paid a lot for a room with one bunk bed in it, not great value.

Good location for downtown Denver and getting to Ball Arena. Nice to explore 16th street mall.

It could be relatively loud at night, but I brought ear plugs so slept well nonetheless. They also give you free earplugs at reception.

Very good location, super friendly receptionists, great price. My international plug did not work for my hair straightener or my laptop, so reception borrowed me one. It's better to bring your own though, as they only have a few, I got lucky as someone returned theirs.

My room didn't have a hairdryer, and the shower had some hairs that weren't cleaned properly on the bottom of the shower and on the shower curtain.

The staff were friendly and responsive to my messages. They were able to hold packages for me that I got delivered and they had luggage storage. The bed was comfortable, and I loved having my own private bathroom.

The room was somewhat too warm, the mattress (for me) was *far* too soft, I slept exceptionally badly for 3 nights. I don't think I've ever had a mattress that soft in a rented bed before.

The decor, bathrooms exceptionally clean, good kitchen, coffee shop, easy uber access, elevator, lots of pillows, sink in room, lots of electrical outlets, good lighting options, comfortable sheets, good amenities nearby.

It would be good to have an early shop also inside the hostel inoder to have the breakfast as early as 06:00 am. A map of Denver would suit well into the lobby.

In February it was very quiet in the room. It was very easy to move in the building. The kitchen and library were suitable places to be. Nar the hostel there were good shop, pizzeria and coffee bar.And the hostel was not too far from the Conventional Center, Ball Arena and Union Station. You could reach al of them by walking or bus.
