Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Great location in terms of ease from the airport and collecting a car, but also a nice location in terms of surroundings. Excellent quality of rooms and facilities too. Staff were also great. Would stay here again.

The only thing to consider is the staff's attitude, they were offering some free samples (specifically water mists in sample size bottles) my mom took one and they seemed angry that she did and when I went to the lobby to ask for a tissue box (that had to be replaced because the one in our room was empty) I grabbed one and they also looked at me funny, so what's the deal? if you don't like people taking samples, don't offer them. When we arrived we had a lot of luggage + a dog so we needed a trolley car to put all the luggage, when we asked for one, they said all of them were busy and we just kept staring at each other, I was always nice to them, as they clearly didn't care that I needed one, I asked where I could go find one as I really needed, it was then they took the hint to go look for it, they eventually brought one but they also seemed pissed to have to do that for us, I thanked them for their help. And also both parking and the airport shuttle had to be paid as extras, both costs are not included in the room fee.
This hotel is very well located, very close to LAX, the hotel is really clean and the installations look really new. They are also pet friendly, we were traveling with my tiny dog and they dont charge any extra fees for your pets. That was great. The room also was very clean and had a frigobar with some water bottles at no extra charge that was really nice.

I booked a king size room and when I got there they said they placed me in a room with two queen size beds. I explained that I booked a month in advance and they tried to give me vouchers for compensation. It wasn’t what I wanted. They eventually found a room for me with a king size bed.
The ambiance, the lounge and the location was real low key.

There’s a rooftop bar so on a weekend night, it’s loud music can be heard but this is to be expected.
Clean, fast check in/out, restaurant options and short drive away from LAX, also a very Pet friendly hotel :)

More effort needed in food preparation in onsite restaurants. for example, the Oatmeal at the breakfast buffet was like soup. The carry out ordered at the bar on the main floor did not have the quality in taste or preparation to make us place a second order,

The bathroom door is a sliding glass door so it was a bit awkward to close and lit up the room when someone used the bathroom in the middle of the night. It wasn’t terrible, just more something to consider if you have kids or are sharing the room with others.
The hotel was very quiet and the usual noise (noisy guests or sounds from outside) weren’t an issue. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious and well laid out.

A bigger room and accommodations that allowed you to have children in your room, 2 beds when you are traveling with a boy and girl does not work.
It was helpful to have breakfast on site and that you could order fresh food as well as the buffet.

They need better soundproofing because you can hear the airplanes and $27 to park in El Segundo is a JOKE.
