Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe parking lot is just below the pool, so parked cars are part of your view when you look out. Would have been sweet if they dug the parking lot in just a bit deeper to avoid this. Also, there’s no complimentary coffee in the morning.
Stylish hotel with a great little courtyard, bar, and pool area to hang out - also a stellar view of the ocean and west side of Maui. You can walk to Wailea beach, coffee shops, and outdoor shopping mall.

United States of AmericaWhat could have been better? Since you ask, then maybe possibly sell a different type of bottled water then which is currently available now in your snack bar area?
Perfectly situated location on the mountain overlooking the ocean, great view of the surrounding areas! The swimming pool area provides a spectacular experience for all types of activities, and indeed helps create a good family swimming atmosphere!! Also there is a bar restaurant which serves food located inside the swimming pool area, who could ask for more than that? Thank you AC hotel staff for your dedication to making our Hawaiian vacation a great success!!

United States of AmericaEvery thing was with extra pay. An expensive hotel in the first place, and another $30 a day for parking, $25 for breakfast per person, $200 for late check out, even some of the seats near the pool were with additional cost. If you want a room with better view $50 per night. That is very annoying. Nothing complimentary. Not on the beach front.
Beautiful pool and bar area. Nice restaurants in the area. Good laundry room for the guests.

The location is close the Shops of Wailea and Island Gourmet where you can buy anything you need. Also close to Akamai coffee and a massage place. You can take a nice tree lined walk towards Andaz hotel or take the Wailea beach path walk. It's safe to walk. The pool/bar/lounge area is small, but well laid out. I liked that it wasn't crowded. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our TV wasn't able to play Netflix at the time, but is supposed to be an option. The lay out of the room (king bed with couch) was nice.

United States of AmericaI booked through Bonvoy app, then cancelled because booking.com had a better price. When I got there for check in, I was told my reservation was cancelled. I said that I paid the full price and that I saw the charge deducted from my checking account. The woman (Manager? She was dressed differently, more formally than other front desk staff.) said I need to take it up with booking.com because she wasn't showing me in the system. I called booking.com and they had to call the hotel. They reached the woman and she found my reservation, but she blamed me by saying, "I asked if it was under a different name. It was under your first name, not your last name." My first name is Myly, my last name is Posse. Two unusual names. Wouldn't that be the first thing you checked? The next morning, we woke up looking for the coffee maker. There wasn't one in the room. I looked up amenities to confirm that there should be one and the website included it as part of the amenities. Went to the front desk to explain we didn't have a coffee maker in the room and could we get some coffee? I was told the coffee place didn't open until 6 or 6:30, can't remember the exact time, but the front desk woman-not the manager--went in the back and brought us back two cups of coffee. She charged us for them. I know we were up early on California time, but I wouldn't have had to bug the front desk if the coffee maker was in our room. Nevertheless, we were penalized for their error.
The hotel is beautiful, what you can usually expect from AC hotels. The infinity pool is sublime. Beds are very comfortable. It was about a 15 minute walk to beaches from the property, so well located if you don't mind a bit of a hike uphill on the way back. Close to shops/ mall and great restaurants, too.
