Website indicated a no pet policy which is why we selected this hotel. We saw more than one hotel guest with a small dog during our stay. Would recommend adding a towel bar in the bathroom or extra shelf to hold toiletries

Location within walking distance of a pier and restaurants. Close to Fort Fisher and access to ferry to Southport. Liked the options to get fresh towels only or full maid service.

Bed was hard. Needed a comfortable chair for relaxing and reading. No elevator for bad knees.

The tv, cable, and the noise above! Walls were thin and carpet needed padding! The door needed a safer lock!

Close to the ocean of course and you could walk to several restaurants! Also, cooking facilities were adequate!

Light was burned out in stairwell hard to see in the dark. Broken lock on sliding glass door. It was hard to park.

The pool area needs a little love on the pavement around the pool but still enjoyed it. Didn’t deter our use of pool.

Plenty of parking and clean rooms. Close to amenities and a short drive to Fort Fisher and Carolina Beach. Quiet hotel with plenty of room on the beach.

We traveled by bike. They put us on the second floor in a place without an elevator. We asked if we could be moved to the first floor, and they had a room available. But they said because it was done through booking.com, it would be an extra $30. So we lugged two bikes and five bags up a flight of stairs.

No breakfast. The staff attendant was very helpful, however, in decoding the cable settings for us.

Very old, just comfortable, not luxury by any means. The floor I do not think had been mopped in awhile because something was on floor, wiped it up and paper towel was black. Did not leave a great first impression with me just arriving. Bathroom is small, kitchen sink small. Pool deck cracking in multiple places needs repair. Outside definitely needs painting on the oceanfront side. Had to smell people above us smoking skunk weed everday and that crap STINKS, came through air conditioning into our room stinking up our room. Probably never stay here again. Not up to my standards.

I didn't like that after booking. Upon my arrival after A whole car trip with a family of 4 with two small kids. They had no room available "because the app" booked a unavailable room according to the desk lady. Then I get looked at like figure it out but get told if you want to we can call you later if there is an availability..... WHAT? I was like no is your business fault my booking is not available find me somewhere to stay... THE LADY sends me a couple of blocks down and I ended up having to stay somewhere else more expensive... whatever we already here I guess we got to.... next thing I know at 8pm I get message from the "manager" My check in is ready if I don't show up by 9pm I would be a no show and would be charged for the entire stay...... I called and it was sorted out eventually.... but talk about not organizing or caring about the guest.. would never book again sorry. I need consistency I travel with kids not on my own

The location was wonderful. Right on the beach and by our favorite stores and restaurants. I wish I would have gotten her name, but the lady at the desk was super sweet and extremely nice.

Room was outdated, in need of remodeling, painting and repairs. Mold on the ceiling of the bathroom. Dingy overall, carpet outdated and worn, and fixtures in the bathroom were covered in buildup residue. Of concern...the front desk staff member did not check my ID or credit card information, even after I aksed if they needed me to present this to them. As a former victim of identity theft, this is not the way to do business.

Location was stellar, beachfront. Staff was courteous, helpful and friendly.

My only complaint would be whoever was staying above us. We were located on the 2nd floor. The people directly above were creating noise way into the morning. Stomping and slamming doors. This was no fault of the hotel.

The hotel is very clean and right on the beach. We were given plenty towels.
