Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThey may need to update their brochure, as the following items were not available (at least not during my stay): there were no cookies, robes, Keurigs in the rooms, and you were not able to make your own waffles. You were able to put in a breakfast order the night before, for a fee.
I stayed in the Deserted Island room, complete with hot tub and oyster bed. The room was beautifully and lovingly furnished with beach-themed accessories. I especially loved the gorgeous mermaid by the tub and the tiled floor featuring Jaws! There was complimentary popcorn in the lobby and in the evening, a nice bonfire in the back. The staff was also kind enough to give me a tour of the Haunted Castle suite. There were also complimentary DVDS available to borrow. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There were no issues with noise at night, like other reviewers mentioned. . Overall, I would definitely stay here again - there's just no place like it! I enjoyed chatting with the other guests about which suites they were staying in, and fantasizing about which ones we'd like to experience in the future.

The hotel is both well-taken care of and creative/ quirky, with every room having a different theme! I also liked that every room has either a Jacuzzi or hot tub. The movie rentals also provide great entertainment when staying in the themed rooms. The decorative details of the rooms are fun, and the rooms are cleaned well and kept up extremely well.

United States of AmericaThere was an extra charge per person over two, even though the room was for six people. Most of the lights were amazing but the one over the bar flickered so much that we could not use it. I would have liked measurements of the loft area on the web as it was hard to ascertain before seeing it if our crew would fit up there. But those were minor things, easily fixed—overall it was a great experience.
The room was awesome, we had always thought about staying there and we were so happy to finally have the chance! The staff was very nice, especially at check-in. It was great that they had so many movies to choose from (and 2 players in the room). They accommodated our needs for extra beds for our group. We were able to fit 3 teens in the loft (all good friends, I wouldn’t recommend 3 up there if they weren’t close friends/family), one adult had the king sized bed and one stayed on a cot. We made up the pull out chair bed just in case anyone had trouble sleeping in the loft. Cool lighting effects with stars in part of the ceiling!

United States of AmericaThere is nothing to complain about. 100% satisfied. Hoping to get a few friends together to chip in for one of the bigger rooms someday!
This hotel is UNIQUE!! All rooms are decorated with a different theme. The lobby is so cool. Tracy, the lady who checked us in, was awesome. They have a great sitting area out back, where a fire is lit at night. There's an on-site restaurant and bar. When you check in, you're given a menu to select your room service breakfast for in the morning if you wish. You can order anything from the restaurant up to 10:30pm, and they'll bring it right to you as well. We stayed in the Deserted Island room. I vacation in this area a lot, and have always wanted to stay here. It's always been a little out of our price range. We were able to grab one of the smaller rooms at the end of a holiday weekend, so it was a little cheaper. I figured now's my chance! Although it was only one night, I'm so glad we got to check it out!! Our bed was a big oyster shell, and the top went up and down! It was sooo comfortable!! The hot tub was AMAZING! Plenty big for two. We had a separate little dining/sitting area. The couch pulls out to a bed if you need it. Bathroom was decorated great. An all around awesome experience. Oh, and Bob Marley was playing when we entered our room...a nice little touch.

United States of AmericaHmm, I had a good breakfast sandwich. But, my girlfriend said the Belgian waffle was not the best. But, she still gives this place a 5 stars!
There was a hot tub next to the bed!! Plus, the room I had was the wolf den and lived up to it's name! My girlfriend loves the location; it is not far from downtown and has amazing views a short walk or drive away. All the rooms are themed! So, you can stay in a different room each time and won't be like the others.
