Despite the good room, there was a noise coming from the AC system on the wall, behind a metal door. This noise was loud and didn't stop, even when I turned the ac off. So, what I did was turning it off directly on the machine, hidden behind a metal door on the wall. Internet wasn't fast in the room.

Good Hotel, the room was big and comnfortable. Good shower and bed. Hotel gave me a small gift with water and soda cans, it was thoughtful from their side. Location is good as well, easy to access main streets of city downtown.

The hard water was awful for my husband's very long hair. Mini fridge might be too small for long stays if you want groceries to cut on food costs.

Tons of amenities. Very kind, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Comfortable, quiet rooms. Walking distance to many things and easy to access public transport or ride services. Able to check your luggage before checking in.

I didn't like that I paid $44 more than my reservation. booking.com should be more transparent on costs. The woman at the reception was not helpful.

The hotel and location was great! Coffee, tea and hot chocolate drinks were available as you wish. Raymond at the reception was very friendly. Also the kind guy during the night was helpful.

The parking is available only for valet parking and it seems a little expensive, but the service was good.

The place was very quiet and we can barely hear from outside. At the lounge, it has free coffee and gym which was clean and confortable to use.

The bathroom was very small, the room had an old smell to it and the biggest thing was the $45 a day mandatory activity charge that they slid in which made the price of the room higher than what we wanted to spend.

The view was great, the location was perfect, the bed was comfortable and the 6 free non alcoholic drinks per day hit the spot.

I had issues with the non-recyclable attitude. Especially at the coffee extravaganza area. Although the staff were very efficient, professional, and almost always busy, they weren’t very friendly . The soda/water $50 a day thing left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. I think you would be better off just charging people more. Everyone was talking about it; people in the elevator, people in the lobby, guests from all over the world. Poor policy.

The location, the cleanliness and the beds were great. The elevators were clean and ran well.

There was an additional $199 resort tax that was not shown in the final price in the Booking app. The heating system was noisy in my room.

The area didn't have a lot of nearby shopping, which I only do on outings like this these days. But how much control do you have over stores?

Definitely a good place to relax, which was my goal, simply to be in a different environment. The staff essentially stayed out of the way, while being available at the same time, which I enjoyed.

We arrived in the evening for check-in & the lobby lighting was very dim. Also, there wasn't a coffee maker in the room.

The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. It was nice having free coffee, hot chocolate & water in the lobby. We also received a goody bag with soft drinks & water in it when we checked in.

The lobby was sort of funky. I got multiple charges on my credit card which I couldn't explain, but they were deleted.

The room was fine. Comfortable bed. They had complimentary coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby. There was a bagel shop next door to the hotel which was handy for breakfast.

The Chicago Hotel Collection Magnificent Mile is well located. We stayed there for one night in transit and arrived late and hungry. We were recommended to go to the Italian/pizza restaurant nearby, which was a good choice for hungry travellers. We returned to a very clean room with fresh linen, which we found very relaxing. We both slept well as despite being on a busy road, this wasn’t noticeable.
