No one was at the registration desk the three different times we went to the lobby, so after waiting for a while, we had to call the number for assistance. Room was a little hot and we couldn't adjust the thermostat.

Great location; close proximity to Capitol Reef park and right next door to a restaurant and gas station. Appreciated having a fridge and microwave in the room. Comfortable beds. Nice touches like the little baskets with toiletries and even a little rubber duckie.

The place needs some work. It looks great from a distance, but when you get close it starts to show its age too much.

The location is perfect for Boulder Mountain or Capital Reef. Easy access to rooms from parking. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The full breakfast most places provide is a tragedy for health. However, to have hot water with tea and coffee available should be a norm. To stretch a little bit would be to provide a bowl of apples and oranges or bananas but, you are rather out in the boonies and it can’t be easy to get fresh produce.

Your sample question was did we like the breakfast. There wasn’t a breakfast. The first night we couldn’t find any staff. The second and third night. They were wonderful Plugging in the hot water car and starting the fire so that we could enjoy the evening in the lobby.

During the Christmas Holiday, this was an excellent place to use as a base camp while hiking at Capitol Reef and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. The views from some of the rooms were excellent. We also got a discounted room for one night.

Just a bit remote, but this made it very quiet.

Front desk staff was both friendly and very helpful, taking the time to show us where their EV charging station was and how to use it.

It was a little tricky getting the climate control to keep the right temperature. There is no degree setting on the wall unit and on a very cold night, I ended up being too warm. There were some rough edges to the property like corrosion on the metal stairs. I have no reason to think this was dangerous, it could just stand to have a little upkeep. The hotel does not offer breakfast but since included hotel breakfasts are usually so bad, this was not a big minus. I easily found a place in town just a couple of miles away.

The hotel is only a few miles from the entrance to Capitol Reef National Park, so great location. There is gas station, convenience store, and Mexican Restaurant on site. The room was very clean and comfortable and had a view of some red rock formations. There was maid service every day, which you cannot take for granted these days. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet as one might imagine in this location. The overall value was very good at this property. I would stay here again.

The restaurant in front of the hotel had a very long wait. We ended up eating cheese and crackers for dinner in our room. Not the hotel's fault.

Convenient location for Capitol Reef and Tory. Set back from the main road so it was nice and quiet. Comfortable room and bed. Shower was very nice with really hot water. Would stay here again.
