Peaceful clean great hospitality

That by looking at the pictures it can really be misleading if your looking for the kitchen items that are featured! In truth there was not one thing in the kitchen to use but the trashcan with a trash bag ! Anything else you need to bring! I think I received a email once the room was paid for telling me to bring things like coffee, paper towels etc. This wasn't cool at all but fortunate for us we were only in town for the night making up our wedding Anniversary time , so we had planned to eat out anyway! We instead ordered out and in the middle of dinner we could see someone trying to peak through our window and then Shortly after there was a knock at the door and when my husband answered it appeared to be dressed like a lady but sounded like a man , wanting access to bags of ice that was left in the Top of the refrigerator! Wasn't cool but we dealt with it for the moment!

Very Nice Location very private rooms! I'm a honest person and love giving feedback! I have nothing bad to really say ! But this place is better for people looking for a longer term stay not just let's getaway type of weekend room ! I forgot places like this is like home to some people so if your looking for that this is definitely the place! I was really impressed with the size of the suites , very large and comfortable

LOCATION- OFF THE MAIN HWY (74) THRU SHELBY. SITUATED BACK IN A QUIET AREA IN A COMMERCIAL SECTOR WITH PLENTY OF CONVENIENCES.... WALMART, GROCERY STORES, AND RESTAURANTS ARE IN CLOSE VICINITY. ROOM WAS SPACIOUS AND COMFORTABLE. DENISE THE MANAGER INTERACTED WELL AND WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING.

Low toilet....look before you sit 1st time...it's lower than you're probably used to, and it could surprise you...LOL... but let's be truthful....that's not a problem and could be a blessing I guess if you have small children with you.

Booked months in advance and had no problems on arrival. Go here with realistic expectations....it's not new,but it's clean,safe and quiet with easy access to highway. Plenty of restaurants, gas stations , stores close by. Denise, the manager was helpful from day 1 of booking right down to simple requests while on-site. At check-in I requested an extra blanket be dropped off in room. Sat luggage in room and ran right out to dinner. Just over 1 1/2 hrs later when we returned....blanket in chair just inside the door. Later in stay asked for few extra wash cloths ...no problem, handed right over. It was also nice that room has so many outlets (as I have to travel with medical equipment). Everything we used worked....I didn't try anything outside of room. Had another little "adventure " while there and manager helped with that for a happy outcome for all. We would stay again and staying longer would be easy as the suites have full kitchens....no dinky little hotel fridge....a full size fridge so you can keep more than 2 bottles of water (or whatever 😉) cold. We were there for short stay for a wedding, would like to go back and stay longer to see the museum close by and...the carousel in Shelby Park.

Had to provide our own coffee and there were no kitchen utensils , possibly due to the fact that we had booked at late notice.

The wiFi was slow and unpredictable, and I would have liked that to be solid, as I had work to do related to my stay. I had a bit of trouble sleeping due to the sounds coming through the walls. I used earplugs and a sleep app, and they helped.

I was very pleased with the suite, rather than single room, set-up. It was far more comfortable having more space. The amount of space I got for the price was incredible. The manager, Denise, was very kind and helpful throughout my stay. Because of her, the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room, and the great location, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Fit and finish on doors could be better. This seems to be because of age of building and not from lack of care.

I had no issues with this property.

I arrived after dark and was having a problem figuring out where the property was but a phone call to Denise solved the problem. She was able to give me detailed instructions and I then found the property without any issues.

I hesitate to tell ya'll how much I enjoyed staying here because I really want it to be my little secret. :-) I kind of discovered this place by accident, but I will definitely be back! As a female traveling alone, I felt very safe and everyone was super friendly. The place was clean, inside and out. The bed slept comfortably. Parking was right by the door. I will definitely be back!
