The view from our suite was absolutely amazing. Full view of the Pacific Ocean. So beautiful! The gardens are amazingly beautiful and perfectly manicured. The interior design is so pleasing to the eye and clearly had much thought put into it.

The room could use a bit of redo. Not up to what I would otherwise have expected. Driveway a bit tough to find(single lane), if arriving at night.

The parking area was a bit tight since my friend and I arrived in separate cars, but it was fine, and certainly could not be helped - that's just the room that's available. We were just glad that we had small cars. :)

Agate Cove Inn has a spectacular location with a great views of the sea, and is just a few minutes drive into town. The property has beautiful landscaping, plenty of lovely places to sit and enjoy the view, and oozes charm and romance. Our room, Garnet, with 2 Queen beds was perfect for my friend and me. It was stylishly decorated, very clean, and had a lovely garden patio with chairs and a table (shared with the room next to us, which could be rented out to accommodate a larger group). Everyone that runs the inn is very kind, welcoming and accommodating. The breakfasts are wonderful, with delicious egg dishes, sausage, crispy bacon, homemade bread and granola, potatoes, cooked-to-order sweet option of the day (like French toast or pancake).

I’m sure it’s not their fault- but the water when filling up the tub or in the toilet had a green tint to it. Might just be an ocean thing!

My boyfriend and I were so happy with our choice to stay here. The property is well kept, quaint but has everything you could need. The staff made it feel like staying at a family’s house. Every cottage has its own parking, and it was quiet at all hours of the day. You can hear the lovely ocean waves, so calming to put you to sleep. The breakfast was great, and the ladies in the kitchen were incredibly kind and accommodating. The bed was comfortable, and they heated up the room right before we arrived. The lady running the check in office gave us great recommendations for dinner and things to do. Will definitely be sending my friends up here to have the same experience!

We were in the Diamond room, it was clean and nice, perfect for couples. The only thing that really caught us was the skylight above our bed which was very unusual, impractical and very very inappropriate!!We couldn’t rest until the sun/light was out because you just couldn’t!!! The light was glaring your eyes!For me who has migraine and wants to rest in the middle of the day, it was impossible. It was our very first time encountering a skylight above the bed disregarding your privacy and rest!!!Otherwise, the breakfast was great and staff were awesome!!

The view is beautiful, the room was the best. The food was definitely really good compared to a lot of the breakfasts I've had at places. The tub was definitely a favorite it had a jacuzzi along with the sky light.

Our room was closest to the main highway, so there was traffic noise, but it wasn't bad once inside.

Stephanie made us feel welcome and she really makes the place special with her warm and vibrant energy! The view from the dining room is breathtaking and the breakfast was exceptional! We also appreciated the availability of coffee and tea and the cookies were delicious!

The property is extremely well kept - beautiful grounds and the best view around. Front row seating for the most spectacular ocean view. Breakfast each morning was hot, freshly made and always had either pancakes or French toast to make to order. Staff was very friendly and there to help with questions.

Very little! The fan in the bathroom didn't seem to work. For such a generous sized room it would have been nice to have a regular closet in addition to the rack with hangers.

We were fortunate to be able to stay three nights this week at Agate Cove. Each morning we were served a delicious and varied hot breakfast by friendly and attentive staff while enjoying the spectacular view of the ocean from our dining room table! The gardens are lovely and seem to have been carefully planned and cared for. I just wish we had been able to stay there in better weather to see more of the plants in bloom. The staff was exceptional. Susan checked us in and went out of her way to make us welcome and comfortable!

Finding the parking spot was a little difficult. A map with the names of the cottages would have been nice. We arrived after dark and it took a while to find our spot.

The location was great! Soo close to downtown Mendocino but also close to Fort Bragg. The grounds were really nice. Breakfast was amazing! The seats near the windows were wonderful.

A reading light by the sofa would have made it nicer to sit there and enjoy the view. Bathroom could use an update, especially considering the price.
