We had booked 3 beds, but were told upon arrival the place was overbooked and they offered us to stay for free in 1 bed and 2 couches. We agreed to it since it was late, we were tired and only needed a place to spend the night before departing early in the morning. However, there were some rude guests cooking, making loud noises and turning lights on until 2am. Angie called the attention to those guests and they stopped, but still there were other guests waking up to use the kitchen or the bathroom all night long, so we barely could get any sleep.

Angie (the hostess) was really nice to us, she really tried her best to make us feel welcomed and comfortable given the circustances, she gave us blankets, pillows and free water bottles, also other guests were nice to us and tried to help The place is clean, and is located on a nice neighborhood. Overall I think this is a good option to stay if you are on a budget, just make sure they know you are coming beforehand.

I stayed at Sweet home and I really did not expect much because it had the lowest price on booking, share the room with other people who eventually become friends and after 10:00 p.m. we all know that we must respect the rest of the people, I was very surprised that there are free snacks that you can cook yourself, pasta, bread and canned food, etc. That is something that I have not seen in another house, Angie the person in charge of the house gives it that sweet touch to the house, because she is aware of everyone and the good order of the house, he is also very kind, hospitable... my stay there was very good and I felt good there at sweet home, the # 20 bus takes you to Fort Lauderdale and also bring you back to sweet home, the house has free parking if you are driving too

Guests were nice for an overnight stay, plus the host staff was informational. They offer free food.. So that is one less worry. Stays can be for an extended time frame but beds are limited so... Have to reserve fast. It was comfy for my stay, a travel rest ~ a one night stay over~🙂

My booking showed confirmed on booking.com and yet when I showed up at the place, they told me that they are fully booked. I had paid the booking amount in full via the app and my credit card but the guy asked me for cash payment and that the credit card transaction was just a “hold”. Took the full amount as cash and yet instead of a bed, I was offered an uncomfortable couch in the communal area.

Remove this location off your site immediately. This is NOT a hotel. This is a two bedroom house with I rude shirtless man. He has bunk beds in the spare room and rent out bunks. You basically living in his house with him for a fee. Terrible person always walking around with no shirt on and being rude.

On the day of arrival the accomodation just wrote us that they are overbooked, not even a sorry! Even after explaining that we are totally lost and all alternatives in Fort Lauderdale are 200$+ (instead of 35$) they didn’t care (even stopped answering) - worst experience in 8 years on booking and hundreds of bookings So highly recommend not to rely on this place!!
