We stayed in until 3 upstairs. No elevators, so be mindful if you travel with anyone who has trouble going up and down stairs. Very simple accommodation, but clean. No lighting in living room, which makes it not very inviting, and no closets at all. There is no place to hang clothing. A small dresser is in each room. We stayed for Purdue graduation as all the hotels in Lafayette were booked. This is a 45 min drive. The accommodation is more suited for families going to the amusement park, rather than traveling for a ‘dressy’ event. The beds were comfortable albeit pushed against the wall on one side (due to small size of bedroom) so that one person would need to climb over the other to get out of bed. Overall, it served the purpose, but we likely won’t be staying again if we can get a hotel closer to Lafayette or in town.

There's really nothing we didn't like... EXCEPT THE PARK WAS CLOSED and that was the reason for your visit.

The location was exceptional and the staff was great. The space was great just enough room for 7 and then scenery from the lake was nice... Thank you for your kindness and prompt response to your needs.

Pillows definitely need updating, they were flat and hard. We looked everywhere for an extra set of blankets and pillow for the pullout bed. We finally found it accidentally the second evening. Its in the foot rest thing and of course thats the one place we didn't look. It should be mentioned in the binder or something. If it was, we didn't see it. Walls are thin, we had a complaint on us the first night. The two younger kids were excited when we first got there, about 845pm. They're laughter can be a little loud and there was some "skipping". We went to the pool area about 915 so they could release their energy and were back in the room a little after 10. I, personally, didn't think they were being loud when we came back from the pool, but the manager called about 1030 and said there were "multiple" noise complaints. We spent the rest of the night whispering and making sure the kids tip-toes. Second night, we heard a TV going all night. I got up at about 4am to use the washroom and you could still here it. Not sure if it was the gentleman next door that was in town for work or the room below us, as it was hard to tell. Needless to say, we realized room walls are usually thin and moved on with our day. Hint to the people the night before, God forbid kids laugh and enjoy themselves. Other than that, we definitely enjoyed ourselves and would stay again.

Place is very welcoming and cozy. Great location, love the hot tub out back. Kids had a blast in the pool area with all the provided toys.

The room did have a bit of a musty smell when we first entered. It wasn’t overbearing so we got used to It fairly quickly. The property is older and there were little things here and there that needed a little tlc but nothing major. The only other thing was the view/area. There were electrical wires running right in front of the balcony(you could reach out and grab them). I would love to come when the beach is open (we likely will, someday). The area seemed a bit rundown. Im not sure what they were doing out front: taking down an amusement park or putting one up?

I loved the stay! The price was fantastic! For a family of 7+ we rarely find a steal/great deal for less than $170/night. I can see why the hotel is at this price point but the extra little touches were amazing and thoughtful. The lights in the pool were a nice touch. At first glance you kind of think college party but our kids had a blast and it was great that they had all of the floaties/toys in the pool area for use! Salt and pepper shakers were in the cupboard, there was a broom in the room, an umbrella, a fly swatter! It’s those small things that are a win for me! I also loved the decor in the room! It was so cute and everything flowed so nicely.
