Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our fridge didn’t keep our drinks cold and our air conditioner had issues.
The younger girl at the desk was super nice and it is a good location to stay for a good price.

No complaints here!!! Enjoyed ourselves and slept very well
Our stay at the Alexis Inn and Suites Hotel was wonderful, to say the least. Everything was so nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was hot and fresh...sausage,eggs, waffles,biscuits with white gravy....was all i could hold...LOL will surely stay here again when in town. We were very pleased at this hotel and i am sure you will agree. Please try the Alexis Inn and Suites...you will not be disappointed. Oh, and the parking was well lit and safe. Staff upon check in was super and very quick.

There isn’t much around the property if you don’t have a car, only a gas station and Waffle House that you could walk to, but the downtown shuttle definitely helped. Also, it would be helpful if there was a place to hang the towel next to the sink, since it is a split bathroom.
Big room with all the amenities we needed, comfortable beds and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they had good options for breakfast. The downtown shuttle was a good option to get around.

Breakfast needs a look over. Air conditioner needs another look. Lot of sound and did not work on the second day. Moved to another room. Amazing front desk.

Only one elevator so another elevator would be handy but it really wasn’t too bad

We asked about a car service & we’re given a phone to call a cab. Later we discovered that the hotel had a shuttle that continuously between the hotel & downtown - wish they would have told us about that option.
We liked the location. Was clean & quiet. We did have a problem with the tv remote, but the person at the front desk was great. She was able to troubleshoot & fix the problem within a few minutes.

Had few roaches in our room when we got there. The shelf top of coat rack had not been wiped clean for a long time.
Location was good. Courtesy shuttle bus to downtown (20$ whole day) was great. Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was okay.

The AC unit was old and struggled to get the room cool initially.

We had two issues 1. someone had turn the refrigerator/freezer to its highest setting and it had iced up the inside. When we turn the setting down the ice melted and floor got wet around the refrigerator. 2. after our first night housekeeping took our towels and did not replace them. But a trip to the front desk got us more towels. Breakfast was good, but my wife said the coffee was not.
The king suite we stay in was very nice. It was the floor plan that we come to expect and like ("living room/office...separated from the bedroom by bathroom) which allows someone to sleep while the person watches TV or works. My wife (who has worked in housekeeping) appreciated that fact that our mattresses had mattress covers. The room was cleaner than a lot of the rooms we have stayed in.

Our TV didn't work for the entire duration of stay, it turns out that the remote we had was the wrong one and then the spare remote we were given didn't work.
The location was ideal, only 5mins from the airport and 12-15mins from Downtown Nashville. Staff were very friendly, and the beds were really comfortable and what you need after a big day out exploring.

Breakfast was very good and location was near downtown.
The room was nice but we had a room that didn’t have a blackout curtain and all of the white lights from the street were feeling as if we left the lights on. We wake up very tired because the lights affected our sleep.

There were two short power outages during my stay, not sure what that was about. I hope they get that fixed.
The beds were amazingly comfortable, the room was clean, and the price was very reasonable. Not to mention, the breakfast was fantastic! There were a number of hot ready to eat items such as scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, pork sausage, biscuits and gravy as well as a waffle maker. They also had the usual coffee, juice, pastries, bagels, toast, yogurt and cereal.
