What's not obvious in the pictures is that it is a room converted into a studio... But it's still just one massive apartment subdivided into small studios where rooms used to be. It is well decorated and the floors are new, but it wasn't made sound proof, far from it. Our room was just below the entrance. Everytime someone entered, it was almost like they were in our room. We could hear their conversations just as clearly. A couple came in around 2AM and played loud music in their room until 5AM. Needless to say I didn't sleep much, but my wife slept through it all. Light sleepers beware.. but you might be lucky and have respectful neighbours!

Very clean and well maintained bedroom with private kitchen and bathroom. The bed was comfortable enough and there was ample space. I would stay again.

The temperature was reset everything's we left to go out and when we came back, it was over 70 in the room and we had to open the window to get the temp down. Every day I had to message for the thermostat to be lowered back to what I was told it was kept at...70. We had a fan that we ran the entire time and this made it hard to sleep. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. And the towels were VERY small and there was only 1 per guest- I would have liked to known this so I could bring one instead of having to buy one there.

Great location, nice space and responsive to messages. Good value for the price.

I stayed in the lower level so I could hear people walking above me and doing all types of things throughout the night. Other than that, it was a good place to stay.

I really liked staying at this Alina & Fanny location. Real private and peaceful place. Everything was clean and arranged very well.

communication via chat was not effective, because responses took time. the bathroom could be cleaner, there were several spots of slime that had an unpleasant smell.

The location was perfect. the place was good, kitchen facilities, comfortable bed.

Rooms were a bit noisy, dark and small. We stayed in a room in the basement with a small window, and we could hear everything from our upstairs neighbour, like simple walking around the room.

It’s a home for which they rent out rooms. Location was good, and you enter with doorcode’s.

I didn’t like how loud people upstairs could be. Quiet hours were from 10p-8a, but people upstairs were loud at 1am one of the nights, which was annoying. During the day, it can be pretty loud upstairs because the floor is thin, so you hear every movement, which wasn’t the worst thing but still disruptive sometimes.

I enjoyed the space. I was in room 1 in the basement and it was small and cute. There were some kitchen items, like dishes, a microwave, and fridge that were really helpful to have. I felt very safe, despite the home being used by other travelers. My door would stay locked, and I didn’t see much of the others staying in other rooms.

Have nothing bad to say! Be aware of Google Maps though, because if you just put "Alina & Fanny" without paying attention, like we did, you'll end up at the wrong property. :)

Very spacious, well equipped one room apartment (especially compared to hotel rooms). Very cozy even despite it being in the basement. Peacful, quiet neighborhood with a mall close and coffee shops close by.

When people walk in and up amd down stairs you can hear it clearly, (typical tho of the type of houses) Parking over night the car cannot be infront of the building, (They already had explained that when they message you, but im just saying what I didnt like).

Security, friendly communication, clean, easy navigate inside, calm neighborhood, everything in the room was there that was listed.

Basement room was under foyer entrance with wood floors. Not an appropriate location for sleeping. I was jolted awake when the first resident exited early in the morning…and the second…and third. Considering that I had been stuck in a massive traffic jam on interstate for 18 hours, exhausted, and only wanted to salvage 6 hours sleep from what was supposed to be a pleasant night in Philadelphia, it was disappointing.

The room was a little bit cold. I was in the basement so sometimes gets noisy with people walking around, coming in and out upstairs.

Very nice place in a great location. The room was exactly like the pictures. Very clean and had everything I needed. The owner was very nice and polite, always answered my questions quickly and helped me.

Extremely noisy room, no noise insulation. Also in the basement and at the back of the building. No natural light. And by washer and dryer facilities, very noisy. having know it was a basement we would not have booked it

Bathroom sink was only cold water and i guess the appliances didnt work, but it didnt say they were included so it wasnt a big deal.

The property is at a very advantageous spot in Philly. it’s close to transportation and right off spring garden which houses many restaurants and local bars. You get the full feel of Philly by traveling right around the corner. Such a lovely place. I will definitely be back and soon.
