Great location, close to shops, restaurants and attractions. John and the entire staff were very friendly and welcoming. Also provided many ideas on things to do restaurants to try. Especially enjoyed the afternoon wine and cheese, mingling with the other guests. Parking conveniently located behind the Inn.

Only drawback was the noise from the bar down the street. The windows overlook the back of a very noisy bar with music until quite late on the weekend. Earplugs are supplies by the B&B (unfortunately it was not enough for me, but the other 2 slept well so it depends on the people).

This was an amazing B&B experience. Many thanks to Laurence and John who have been excellent hosts. They were very friendly and gave us many good advices to make the most of our two days in Newport. The room was great and very comfortable. It was also very practical as it was divided in two parts, one with a bed and one with a sofa bed, which was really great to have intimacy for everyone (3 people total). The breakfast was delicious and the wine and cheese moment very appreciated as it was the opportunity to discuss with them and with other guests.

I loved my stay at the Almondy - the bed was comfy, the room was beautifully decorated, the breakfasts delicious, the location perfect. Laurence and John were helpful with tips on how to make the most of a Newport visit, and they run a most welcoming Inn!

Perfect location with easy access to Newport, mansions, restaurants and shops. Very comfortable beds Very friendly innkeepers, they were accommodating, available when needed. Wine and chees at 5pm was a relaxing way to meet and ask questions

The Lanai Suite would've been perfect with 3 people, however we had an additional guest come last minute so 4 was a bit tight- John did forewarn us of this a few days before check-in. Additionally, while the actual mattress on the pull-out was comfortable memory foam, the actual pullout frame was a little sunken in in the center with one pillow a bit flat. I am nitpicking though, the numerous positives vastly outweigh this (and next time we will book our own separate room at the Almondy so we can try out another room :-)).

Laurence and John are hands down the best part of the Almondy! They will give you all the tips and map out the perfect places to enjoy the beautiful town of Newport. The highlight was daily wine and cheese at 5pm.. sitting there for hours chatting with John, Laurence, and all the other lovely guests. I'd be remiss to forget mentioning about Laurence's Parisian brekky..so decadently divine, delicious and made with the utmost care (WOW the almond croissant and french toast yummm). They also accommodated food restrictions we had. We were offered mimosas for brekky too. The room we were in (Lanai Suite) reminded me of a royale's room. The ceilings were high with a plush, thick carpet. Although the decor was antique, the entire suite was extremely clean and well-kept (ie no stains/nicks on the carpets and walls). My husband realized he left his wallet on the shelf when we had already checked out and were 2 hours on the road. John located it and graciously shipped it back to our address, was in our possession within 48 hours. Can't say anymore about the hospitality!

The location of was awesome. We could walk to shopping and many restaurants. The mansions were a short drive. The inn was very clean and the breakfast was amazing. Our Inn Keeper, Shelby was great. She was very knowledgable and happy to help with anything we needed. We would stay at this B&B again.

The Almondy Inn was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect, right in the center of town and a 5-10 minute walk to all restaurants and shopping! The hosts were phenomenal. Breakfast every morning was an absolute treat, with fresh baked goods, and incredibly tasty meals! Every afternoon the hosts offered wine and cheeses in the beautiful living room. Along with being incredibly kind and friendly, the hosts offered countless suggestions of Trips and outings during our stay. We loved every minute of our time! Thank you for a wonderful experience, we cannot wait to visit again.

We loved everything about the property. The attention to detail was outstanding. The hosts made you feel at home. We can say enough about the breakfasts other than I wish I could eat more. Superb!!!!!! Everything is in walking distance. Take their suggestions on the places to eat because they are right., some of the best seafood we have had.

Not a bad thing to say !

Love this Inn for many reasons! Inn keepers John & Laurence, as well as all the staff, are very warm and welcoming. Laurence makes the most amazing breakfasts and she also makes the best chocolate chip cookies per my husband. The wine and cheese gathering is a great way to mingle with them and other guests. Also the perfect location for park the car and walk most places weekend! We will be back to visit soon!
