The Lanai Suite would've been perfect with 3 people, however we had an additional guest come last minute so 4 was a bit tight- John did forewarn us of this a few days before check-in. Additionally, while the actual mattress on the pull-out was comfortable memory foam, the actual pullout frame was a little sunken in in the center with one pillow a bit flat. I am nitpicking though, the numerous positives vastly outweigh this (and next time we will book our own separate room at the Almondy so we can try out another room :-)).

Laurence and John are hands down the best part of the Almondy! They will give you all the tips and map out the perfect places to enjoy the beautiful town of Newport. The highlight was daily wine and cheese at 5pm.. sitting there for hours chatting with John, Laurence, and all the other lovely guests. I'd be remiss to forget mentioning about Laurence's Parisian brekky..so decadently divine, delicious and made with the utmost care (WOW the almond croissant and french toast yummm). They also accommodated food restrictions we had. We were offered mimosas for brekky too. The room we were in (Lanai Suite) reminded me of a royale's room. The ceilings were high with a plush, thick carpet. Although the decor was antique, the entire suite was extremely clean and well-kept (ie no stains/nicks on the carpets and walls). My husband realized he left his wallet on the shelf when we had already checked out and were 2 hours on the road. John located it and graciously shipped it back to our address, was in our possession within 48 hours. Can't say anymore about the hospitality!

The location of was awesome. We could walk to shopping and many restaurants. The mansions were a short drive. The inn was very clean and the breakfast was amazing. Our Inn Keeper, Shelby was great. She was very knowledgable and happy to help with anything we needed. We would stay at this B&B again.

The Almondy Inn was absolutely amazing! The location was perfect, right in the center of town and a 5-10 minute walk to all restaurants and shopping! The hosts were phenomenal. Breakfast every morning was an absolute treat, with fresh baked goods, and incredibly tasty meals! Every afternoon the hosts offered wine and cheeses in the beautiful living room. Along with being incredibly kind and friendly, the hosts offered countless suggestions of Trips and outings during our stay. We loved every minute of our time! Thank you for a wonderful experience, we cannot wait to visit again.

Love this Inn for many reasons! Inn keepers John & Laurence, as well as all the staff, are very warm and welcoming. Laurence makes the most amazing breakfasts and she also makes the best chocolate chip cookies per my husband. The wine and cheese gathering is a great way to mingle with them and other guests. Also the perfect location for park the car and walk most places weekend! We will be back to visit soon!

Property is gorgeous. Rooms are beautiful. Beds and linens are top of the line. Breakfasts are gourmet. Afternoon wine and cheese is a great touch. With all this being said, The Almondy Inn is in the heart of Newport. You can walk every where!

The location was amazing. The Inn was quaint and the extra touches of the warm chocolate chip cookies every afternoon, the complimentary wine and cheese each day at 5pm, and of course the delicious breakfast each day was amazing! I appreciated the staff recommendations of best places to go and eat while in Newport. I felt pampered here, and I loved waking up to the smell of breakfast in the morning.
