Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room I stayed in didn’t have a microwave that’s the only thing I didn’t like but it wasn’t a big deal.
I loved everything the beds were really comfortable the showers were nice, the tv was nice I loved it and will definitely be coming back for future trips near that location

Thé bar is not open on Sunday. I didn’t see that any where in hotel description and even though we had breakfast included, the breakfast bar was not even open by 8 . So no breakfast . The shower door is oddly fitted , so you can’t open the door and turn on the shower easily . Also the sliding door to the shower room itself hits the sink and will not open the entire way . You have to slide though a small opening and push the door into the small space between the wall and sink after you get out of that enclosed area .
I loved the unique vibe and decor . The location was great for our concert. Lots of good restaurants and shopping near by . The staff were wonderful! I can’t stay enough great things about how nice and accommodating they were . Beds were very confortable .

Breakfast - they were out of several food choices. My breakfast was missing the bacon when I opened it. Coffee station was not taken care of promptly.

Blinds did not work. They would not pull down - maintenance was called. They pulled the blinds down but then we could not open them to let in any sunlight the next day. It was frustrating.

Room was not as spacious as I would have liked. Shower had no place for my own personal soap. Only had their shampoo, conditioner, and body wash on wall. Would have been nice if there was a slot for my own personal soap.
Property was very clean and staff was welcoming.

Air conditioning didn’t get quiet cold enough. It was comfortable, but not really cool.

I paid for an extended late checkout. Went out for brunch and my key would not work. Parked near my room and had to walk all around to the front. When I advised the desk associate...she said "oh" what time did you say??? And updated the key...no apology or anything. This was the same person who advised of cost for late checkout and too the info hours before.
The location was perfect and the room was clean.

Only two knocks but they were important. One of the reasons I picked the hotel was for electric car charging and it was out of order. The second was no free breakfast (which I believe was advertised, if not my mistake) but worse the free coffee was empty at 8:45 and still not made at 9:00 AM by which time we had to hit the road uncaffeinated. :(
Staff was friendly, cool vibe and new facility. I like the Aloft concept and this one was spot on.

We were on the 2nd floor and someone above us was stomping around and being loud all night/early morning
The hotel is in a great location. It’s near everything. Staff is very nice and friendly. VERY clean hotel

Wasn't really anything that I didn't like. Everything seemed to be taken well care of for my stay.
I was met with a warm welcome when I entered the lobby. Checking in was effortless. The manger on duty was very helpful and when he realized it was my birthday, wished me a happy birthday. The overall front desk attendant and manager were some of the friendliness people I have ever encountered in a hotel stay! The room was fun and great - bed was comfortable. The buffalo wings from the in-house restaurant were delicious. I truly enjoyed my stay at the Aloft.

Amenities were not all available. Bar never opened during our stay, and they misplaced keys to snack/beverage area for almost a day and could not purchase snacks and beverages.
Confortable room and good staff. Our room's fridge was not working properly and staff immediately moved us to another room.
