My room door couldn’t lock , lock fall off it was very unsafe I didn’t enjoy my stay at all I left at 5 am

I actually didn’t stay this time. Booking.com defaulted to Monday night for some reason when I was trying to make the reservation the week before on Thursday for Thursday. I tried to change the date, but the property never responded. My impression when I went there Thursday, thinking I had a reservation, was that the staff was not computer literate. So, I wasn’t particularly surprised they didn’t respond because it’s just as likely they didn’t know how to check their notifications. I’ll be very careful using Booking.com in the future.

It’s a great property with a good location and significantly better value than other hotels in the area.

I use to stay in this hotel everytime my boyfriend & I visited Charleston. However, the quality seems to lower everytime we visit. Our room didn't have a a microwave. The ceiling looked like it was leaving & they quickly patched it & didn't care how it looked. There was dog hair all over the floor. I don't have pets at home. I don't want a room that wasnt properly cleaned after hosting a pet. The lobby furniture was stained & dirty.

Staff or someone had used the bathroom prior to checking in and left their business tissue in toilet. Housekeeping can to clean right away, but still put a doubt in back of mind about cleanliness. Also, only had one hand towel in BR. Hated the way the shower water drifted into vanity area…made for a real mess that we had to clean up.

Very “tired” building. The room was bland, no art on walls, old carpet on floor, paint chipping . Air conditioner super noisy.

Images on web site do not reflect the actual building I felt like I was at a motel 6 with modern looking stuff in the room shower door was broke , curtains had the chain taped together carpet had stains everywhere.

Our shower was broken and we couldn’t use it. When we tried to call the office our phone in our room was also not working. So I had to use my cell phone to make a call.

It looked old...it looks like the upgrades the lobby but forgot about the rooms. When I got off the elevator for my floor I was disappointed. No curtains, just a plastic shades to the windows.. I've been to other Alofts and this one didn't measure up at all.

The close proximity to airport and shuttle service was a plus. Check in was a breeze however I was charged a $100 deposit fee although my booking was paid for in full not sure when I will get that back. The room was dated very noisy but I was there for a few hours not a big deal

Room accommodations because I had a roommate and we were given a handicap room. With no door for the bathroom. And they would not switch rooms. Said they were overbooked.

The manager was very helpful and nice. The check in clerk was not helpful. The room was not what I asked for. The room was handicap with no door for the bathroom which did not meet our accommodations for privacy to use the bathroom in private!!! For 2 adults and I booked over a month in advance and they would not switch our room. I feel they accommodated for the families that were there for a soccer and cheer event.

The lobby was extremely hot. The elevators were hot and one stopped working. Our room door had blood smeared on it when we came back to it on our last night. The shower head needs to be updated to one that can have the spray nozzle rotated to different settings. The room definitely needed an upgraded paint job, but it’s right by the airport. I do think for the price….it could have been a little bit better.

The bed slept good. The hotel was very convenient to where we needed to travel to. The hot water was very nice and hot.

accessible room bathroom floor is on a gradient AWAY from the shower drain so anyone who showers leaves the entire toilet, sink, refrigerator area flooded under 2 inches of water approaching the carpeted area. contractors need to revise this. fall and electrocution risk.
