We were whipped after flying; took 30 minutes to get two drinks in the hotel bar. I mentioned this in my review and management replied and indicated they would do something about the situation.

The open concept sink and shower was annoying as was the lack of sound insulation around the toilet area.

Breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was comfortable. The surround picture on the toilet walls was fun.

The TV stuck in an endless promotion video loop, I could turn it on and change the volume but nothing else. I think it was just not set up properly. My room was right above the hotels air-condition units, so it was noisier than elsewhere at this place. I would still stay here again, but probably in a different room.

It is a very modern and stylish hotel, just recently opened. I liked the decor and overall interior design. The stuff was overall friendly.

the shuttle was not available as there was no driver; we ubered from airport, Management refunded our uber ride without an issue. The desk clerk was overwhelmed as she was the only one on at night(after 11;30pm) she put us on hold several times until she passed us through to some one with the shuttle; this person was very helpful. there was no security avaialble at night. We shared our concerns with a higher level gentleman the next morning. I have no doubt changes will be made as he was very interested in assuring their hotel did well. The breakfast is good, but not free. We got comped breakfast. you order from a menu. Overall, I would stay here again due to cleanliness and close proximity to cruise terminal

Stuffy check in staff. You need your room key to work the elevators, but they don’t tell you that when they ask you how many room keys you need.

Room was poorly designed….hard to move around the illogical placement of the weird furniture. A double barn like bathroom door cheaply executed and therefore broken…and the bathroom floor needed a good scrubbing…and what is with the lobby and check-in being on the second floor. So much fun loaded with luggage. I’m stepping into an elevator just to go to check-in. The entire experience left me underwhelmed. But then again I stayed at a Bono Marriott in Bora Bora and left early because of its problems. Boo-boo boo to Marriott Bonvoy.

AC unit was a bit noisy.

Brand new hotel. All facilities super clean. Perfect gym. Located closely to Airport and cruise terminal. Good value for money, especially for those coming to a cruise.

The price was very high for our first two nights before the cruise, but very reasonable for the night after the cruise. Must have been a popular weekend the first two nights. It cost us $30 to use the transport to the cruise port, but we got a Lyft for only $12 when we came back from the cruise. $15 per person to drive about 2 miles seems pretty high to me. Great hotel

Beautiful hotel very close to airport and cruise port. The staff was very helpful. We stayed here after our cruise and they stored our luggage because we were way too early for check in. Then the front desk lady got us in before the 3 pm check in time. I would stay here again!

I was very disappointed that we had to pay an extra $45.00 to get into our room before 3pm. I tried to explain to check in staff that I was feeling very sick and was experiencing verdigo symptoms and that I needed to lay down, they still insisted on the 3pm check in time. So my husband made the decision to pay the extra fee to get into the room close to 1 1/2 hrs before 3pm.

The happy hour bar up on the roof wasn’t open. It was a Wednesday so we weren’t pressed.

This place was amazing. We want to 100% come back and stay. Staff facilities view of the city was awesome. Exactly what we wanted after having our fight cancelled and having to stay an extra night. Also awesome wood fire pizza place in walking distance.

I booked the hotel booking and the date was mistakenly given the next day. I arrived on February 19th and left on February 20th. The reservation was made on booking from the 20th to the 21st of February. At the hotel reception, I was advised to make a new reservation and paid for it. I was instructed to request cancellation through booking, which I was unable to do. I have proof that I only stayed and paid for the 19th and was charged twice (1 by the hotel directly - correct reservation and another by booking - reservation not made). I need immediate cancellation of this unused reservation. Otherwise, I will take legal action and it will be worse for everyone. Thanks

Rude staff who know nothing about hospitality. The hotel assigned a completely different price and category for our booking details other than our choices and blamed it on Bookings.com. When we approached them they were totally rude. We booked the room with breakfast included ,which was clearly confirmed with booking ,yet the hotel staff denied and in a rude way . The parking charges were 300% the price on booking!! The front desk man responding to a phone call for a booking requested answered the caller "I have no rooms where shall I put her? in someone's closet!!!' Don't recommend it ,very bad experience.

Nothing it was perfect.

There is a lot to love about the Brand New Aloft Fort Lauderdale by Marriott. The New hotel was super Clean and had a friendly staff. The Aloft lobby Bar was great and has happy hour 4-7. Lobby bar has games to play and sports on TV. There was an amazing Roof Top Pool with great views of the city and Airport and ocean views. I enjoyed the food fish tacos and wings were great. Breakfast was super too. Overly impress with the Aloft Fort Lauderdale and there is an airport shuttle van. Hotel does have valet parking for a fee and is like the closest hotel to the Fort Lauderdale Cruise port and airpot. Huge fitness center. My wife loved the lobby and pool table. We will definitely recommend and stay again at the Fort Lauderdale Aloft. See you soon!

The property was nice and clean. Being that the power went out with no backup generators work was not the highlight of my stay. I was outside the hotel with no stairs and no elevators working was horrible.
