The television didn't work too well; It kept on getting stuck. Sometimes it would take 10 minute to switch a channel. It would have also been nice to have a fresh fruit option on the breakfast menu or and a fruit bowl.

upstairs rooms always noisy doors are unbelievably noisy when closing as people slam them. I was awakened twice during the night with people closing doors….

Heavy doors slamming late at night and very early morning. Bagel I got was very stale. Couldn’t even eat it cause it was so hard. Would have brought it back but was in a hurry to go to Hospital appointment.

modern sleek clean look, well kept and comfortable rooms. good shower. Of note was the ceiling in 408- bathroom and over bed you could tell there’s been some leaking or water damage which should be checked. friendly and helpful staff!! will be frequent guests

Carpet in part of the rooms, thin walls through which you could hear slamming doors, one set of elevators only for the whole building. Only some items available for purchase during breakfast. Poor shower pressure and no hot water. Too much clorox used to clean rooms so that the smell was overpowering. Upon check out, I was not asked about how my stay was.

Clean grounds, good design, ample space, pet friendly with no extra fee. Most of the staff was friendly. Modern decor. Tucked away but easily accessible, about 15min to downtown restaurants and 10min from highway. Welcoming atmosphere and it even has a happy hour bar.

Are hotels still not cleaning rooms unless you stay for a certain amount of nights? We stayed for three nights and our trash receptacles were overflowing by the third night. Not enough weight on beds. We had a fitted sheet over the mattress followed by a bed sheet, a very light duvet, and another sheet on top of that. I found the sheet on top of the duvet an odd style, but really wish hotels would provide some kind of bedding that had some weight to it. Surprised with the amount of hardscape leading out to the pool, how small the pool was in relation to it. We very briefly used the outdoor pool. It was extremely hot outside and we wanted to enjoy the cool water of the pool. It was like warm bath water. Either the chiller was broken or there wasn't one. The outdoor pool was a big reason why I chose this hotel since I brought children with me.

Prefer a free breakfast but glad there were reasonably priced breakfast options, as we had to be on the Florida campus before 9 am. Close proximity to campus, shopping, huge selections of restaurants, and a movie theater. All staff encountered were friendly and helpful. The gym was larger than many gyms at similar sized hotels and had a nice set of weights in good condition and additional workout machines. The lobby was an inviting place to hangout with a bar, various types of seating, and a pool table. There were electric bikes and scooters available for guests. Appreciated a standard noon check out instead of 11:00 checkout most hotels do.

I like the ALOFT flag and have stayed in several of the properties. The hotel was exactly as I expected. The staff was less than what I would expect. It took 20 minutes to check in, even though there were 2 employees checking people in and we were the only room checking in. As we were walking on our floor to our room, one of the cleaning staff had their music blasting music with lyrics that would make NF blush, obviously without headphones...
