Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI didn’t like that the bathroom didn’t have a real door, just a wall that slides over and doesn’t create any seal or much privacy. I also wish there was a microwave inside the room. Plus we were only given 2 large towels for our 2 night stay, I asked for more but they were never brought, we tried housekeeping but they were out of towels
The hotel was beautiful! The staff was very friendly!! A convenient location. I would stay again

United States of AmericaThe water pressure for the shower was very poor. I told the front desk, said they were going to send someone to look at it. I got back in the evening and still the same. It was so bad, the water was coming out like a sprinkler.
The modern layout, and lobby area.

United States of Americaweird location. small, tight parking. not close enough to walk to anything (restaurants, shops, gas station). said pet friendly but then at check-in was informed there was a $50 fee for pets - mentioned nowhere on booking site. could’ve gotten a better room/hotel for what the total ended up. room was too modern to be comfortable- weird tiny couch thing & ridiculously small table. zero privacy in bathroom area. door to room opened directly into bathroom space - which has no door! also, just personal taste here, but the decor theme is childish and ugly.

United States of AmericaThe reception in my room was horrible. It was very difficult using my cell phone when I needed to make some important calls. The shower head leaked, I reported it to the front desk and I do believe maintenance came but the problem was not repaired. In fact the water temperature was not as warm as it was prior to me reporting the leak.
As stated the team was very professional and responsive. They were very welcoming and attentive as I came and went.

United States of AmericaIf someone showered or flushed the toilet the entire room could hear it loud and clear. There was no sound barrier between the bathroom and the bedroom. We, also, did not have any hot water for the entire five days we stayed. It was warm at best, like they had the temperature turned down.

United States of AmericaAfter we returned home we tried calling every day to speak with Elton to get some answers. After 5 days of calling and Elton not returning our call we finally got ahold of him on that following Saturday, April 30th. Elton informed us there was no card on file for him to be able to charge the room to and that the hotel had been overbooked. I explained that I was looking at my reservation and I could see the card on the reservation so I am unsure how he didn't have it on his end. I also asked why he didn't call me instead of emailing me. He said that my phone number was not on the reservation, only my email was. I explained that I didn't see how that happened either since I was looking at my reservation and my phone number was clearly on there. I also said that you can't book a room without a card on file. He agreed with that but still stuck with his story staying that no card was on file on his end. I told him that I thought he purposely canceled our reservation since we didn't check in right at 3pm and sold it to someone else that same day for more money. Again we were at the predators hockey game and went for dinner afterwards which is why we didn't check in at 3pm. If we would have checked in at 3pm would there still not have any rooms available? Elton refused to try to fix this situation and said that it was not his fault, it was booking.com's fault since the card was not on file. I do not believe that this was the case but I would like something to be done to make this right. I had to pay double the price for a Baymont hotel room that was not as nice as what the aloft hotel room would have been. I do not think this is okay. Please let me know what next steps I need to do in order to get reimbursed. I had to pay $300 dollars when it should have only been $170.00
The whole experience could have been better. Me and my boyfriend went to see the Predator's play in Nashville on March 23rd, so we didn't check in right at 3pm. When we went to check-in the receptionist told us that she did not have any record of our reservation and that sometimes the 3rd party reservations don't always come through. She then proceeded to tell us that all of their rooms were fully booked and they didn't have a room available at all for us to purchase. She acted as if there was nothing she could do. At the very least she could have called another aloft hotel to see if they had any availability. We ended up calling around 7 surrounding hotels and only one had any availability. It was a Baymont hotel and we had to pay $300 dollars for this room, when we were originally only paying $170 at Aloft. The next day I checked my email and Elton the manger at Aloft had emailed me at 6:41pm on Saturday March 23rd stating the following, "Good afternoon Mr. Morgan Abraham Hope your day is going well. My name is Elton I am the front desk manager at Aloft Nashville Airport, we are sending you this email to let you know that your room is canceled due to overbooking at the hotel we don't have a room to sell to have you in house. I do apologize for the inconvenience and your reservation is going to be canceled with no penalty If any question or concerns, please feel free to contact me at any time" This contradicts what the receptionist told us, which was that there was no record of our reservation at all. Clearly there was since Elton emailed me to let me know after the fact that he had no availability in his hotel. I have a couple of problems with this. One, why did he not call me? I am in Nashville not thinking that I need to check my email to make sure the room I booked is still available. Two, this room had been booked 4 days prior to the stay, so if there was no availability then how was I able to book the room?
