I wanted to book another stay the next day, but the lady melody wanted me to go back into the app and book with a third-party app. Why when I'm already at the front desk? The previous receptionist stated something different the night before. But anyway I left and booked at another hotel.

The pool table , arcades, and clean rooms are a little small for the price.

The bathroom floor was popping up. The staff argued with us saying that our breakfast wasn’t included when we made sure it was. Wish there where better breakfast options. Nothing to drink but coffee.

The location was great to American Dream.

We wish there would have been side doors or alternate entrances besides going through the lobby which was mostly populated every time we had to take the dog out

We liked that it was dog friendly, it was clean, the room was spacious and had a nice eating area and fridge. The staff was nice and helpful. It was in a pretty good location next to restaurants and the highway

Highway is really noisy, try to avoid highway side room. The floor has a little bit leaking when I use sink. I think the hose buried under the floor.

the bed is so comfortable the location is so convenient to take bus to New York.

I understand the intricate details of being a signature boutique hotel, however, I think more privacy when showering will be helpful if there was a door.

The amenities and closeness to touring attractions was a big plus. East access on and off the highway.

The food they had for breakfast looked soooo good, but it wasn’t as good as it looked. I ordered a funfetti cinnamon bun for the kiddo and when we got it, there was no funfetti and the icing was lack there of. I asked if they had more or even sprinkles to put on it and they didn’t have that. All of the food was basically gone BUT we got there around 930 and they close at 1000 so we may have just missed it all. So, if ya want something.. maybe go a little earlier! ***Nothing to deter us from staying there again. Nothing worth making a fuss about or even giving a negative rating, just a mention. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone going to American dream, MetLife, etc.

Honestly it was super modern and comfortable. We had a double queen room and it was good for 4 of us (3 adults-1 child[9]). The bar area looked nice - was open with a seating and pool area. Would have loved to utilize this but we had plans every day. Pool and gym were clean and nice. Definitely great for families, friends, everyone. Great centralized location.

Unfortunately the breakfast was really bad. They do have a few options but serve it in a paper cup, it looks terrible and also didn’t taste great. There wasn’t even a breakfast room or anything. We had to eat in the lobby or in our room. Plates would make a difference to start with but there is lots of potential about breakfast. Everything else was really nice though.

The rooms where super nice, super comfortable bed, big shower. It was all in all very modern. It’s right by the highway but you don’t hear any noise from outside. Bus transfer to Times Square was great.

The COVID rule of cleaning our room after 2-3 days is not good . We pay for a room and being out all day with kids and coming back to a non touched room is not good . We had to ask for towels to shower. I totally understand the COVID but other hotels clean rooms every day , time for ALOFT to get with the times on that. Everything was great , facilities are good.
