United States of AmericaThe breakfast food at the restaurant was terrible. The refrigerator is too loud to sleep with and needs a bungee cord to keep the door closed. The place has old bones and needs alot of attention. I visited in the quite, off-season the locals tell me. If this place fills up the rest of the year, one might think it may eventually get some attention.
Quite and empty motel. Nice large bed. The shower stall was spacious and the power-washer pressure was a nice massage.

United States of AmericaThe Alpine Lodge is dated but it didn't bother us and if you can get past that this is a fine place to stay.
We visited during the winter and the place was super clean, warm and quiet. The wifi was strong - two of us were able to stream videos and video chat at the same time. The location was great - it was close to downtown Davis (probably walking distance, but we drove) and less than 20 minutes from Timberline. My daughter and I really enjoyed our simple stay here.

United States of AmericaWould have been nice to have a microwave in the room but there was one in the common area with the ice machine. The facility could use some updating but we were not expecting a Marriott so were prepared for what we experienced.
The staff was very friendly, gave us a discounted rate upon arrival and reset our room keys when they were wiped by a magnet and no longer worked. Excellent hot water in the shower. We did not see any mold like some of the reviews mentioned.

United States of AmericaNot really a dislike but it's old, clean but really dated. The floor boards in the hallway of the 200s rooms needs some attention. If you use Verizon for cell service you won't have any service but the hotel WiFi was good. Be sure to download your navigation route before you hit the road, we lost cell service about 50 miles before the destination.
Good location, the restaurant is attached so that is convenient and the coffee was free. Great biscuits!! Close to Blackwater Falls State Park and the Purple Fiddle in Thomas WV. Just a few blocks walk to downtown Davis for dining, shopping and a bar with craft brews.

United States of AmericaI was not aware that the room that we were going to be in was pet friendly. Before it was issue with allergies. You could tell they had been cats in the room so we bought a type of deodorant for animals smells. The restaurant is only open from thank it was 7 to 2. Days was Wednesday through Sunday. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. And the years pass they were open longer and every day Covid really changed a lot.
I love the fact that there is three beds in one room. I so that when I was able to get in touch with the staff, they took care of the situation.

Close to Timberline Mountain ski/snowboard resort. Nice area of town, not too crowded. Even though rooms were dated looking, it was still comfortable (nice heat, showers were hot, beds were pretty comfortable).

United States of AmericaCoffee in restaurant was very weak. Room smelled disinfected but just looking around the bed it was clear it doesn’t get cleaned thoroughly. Cracked shower floor and inadequate hot water and pressure. Couldn’t adjust heat despite instructions. It’s rated a 3 star and for what we paid I would’ve expected cleanliness. It’s a one-star stay with dated facilities and very unclean. Overpriced!
