We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

We had a handicapped room and there was Death bunnies all over in the bathroom. The chair that they provide to put in the shower, the legs were dirty, and there was dirt And here under and Around it behind it.
Location Was good, The staff were friendly. It was very sufficient.

My first room had a problem with very loud, rattling pipes, but the issue was quickly handled. The front desk person was very kind and upgraded me to one of the newly renovated rooms instead. I didn't ask to be upgraded, so it was an amazing surprise.
Amazing staff, clean establishment, and a good location for exploring the Alton/Godfrey area. The breakfast options were nice, and the bed was super comfortable. I liked that there was a pool available. Everyone was friendly and helpful throughout the check-in and check-out process.

What happened.to normal sized pillows?
Breakfast was good. Actual food unlike some other hotels where.all that is available is coffee and a waffle.

I guess the biggest fault I can find was the proximity to the train tracks.
It was a hotel room, it was clean , it served the purpose in a fairly safe area, the train ran about every three hours and could hear it in my room.

Train runs near the hotel. Hallways were very warm. Breakfast was limited. Staff was not very accommodating, asked for a first-floor room, and was blown off.
Had working elevator, breakfast was OK, room was clean, internet and TV worked. AC worked to keep the room cool.

The beds were SOOOOO comfortable! I had a wonderful night of sleep. The iced lemon water in the hospitality area was a nice touch that we appreciated when we checked in on a warm evening.

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. It made a noise as though you were sitting down on a 1960s spring mattress... kind of felt like it too. The pillows were small but there were plenty enough of them to put together to make due. The bathroom has mould around the shower and sink, and so does the window. The window was dirty from the outside to the point I could not see out of it. I was located by the pool and could hear people enjoying it into the later hours, which isn't a problem for me but could be for someone with kids or an early wakeup.
The front desk staff were incredible attentive and understanding when my travel plans were delayed and accommodated me without issue. The breakfast was excellent, small but perfect. There was fresh fruit, waffles, breads and spreads, along with warm egg and sausage.

Internet was not working. Still not working by morning. Had to get chair replaced and there was bag of trash behind the door.
The pool was warm and deep end was nice. Good breakfast with scrambled eggs and sausage.

The television in our room would turn on like any other TV, then after 2 or 3 minutes the screen would darken. I would turn it off then back on the process would repeat itself, really frustrating! That was the only thing that bothered us.
Breakfast was good and hot but would have liked biscuits and gravy, maybe some bacon strips also. The location was great as were attending a wedding at the Pere Marquette Lodge and the drive to the Lodge was worth the whole trip along the river road.
