One elevator was broken most of the weekend. But we were able to to use service elevator which reduced wait.

The front desk staff were really helpful and professional, but we had a different experience in the restaurant. Our breakfast the first morning wasn't great and the service was horrible. People were getting their own coffee and the server couldn't have cared less. When we entered the restaurant the second morning the person working was rude and told us that there was no chef so we couldn't have breakfast. We had to check out early that morning so we left without eating. This was frustrating because our reservation included breakfast.

The glamour and admosphere of the former ‘pubic’ is not entirely back - but the energy of the girl bar tenders and restaurant butlers was already far better that a year ago !

The WiFi was somewhat predatory - it didn't have a confirmation screen so it's easy to accidentally hit the paid wifi and be charged for it.

The hotel itself was nice - the room had a fun layout and a good TV that was movable and had many channels

The F&B offerings are basically non existent. And the staff doesn’t seem to have a good way of messaging what’s going on. The lack of dining and late night food/in-room options leaves me considering staying elsewhere on my next visit.

There was no kettle in the room. I asked for it but it was ran out, so I got the coffee machine instead which was nice.

Cleanliness. Housekeeping staff is very thoughtful, turn on heater to help drying my clothes and she left the note to tell me. Her name is Eli (if i'm not wrong). Amenity is refilled. Complimentary drinking water might be a benefit. Spacious closet is great.

Good location, close to the lake, restaurants, supermarket and a subway station (red line). Nice staff. Very good internet.

Rooms need a re-do. Very clean but furniture (couch) need to be replaced. Bed was comfortable! I really like the old school vibe of the hotel, just need to replace some of the furniture!

Staff was amazing! Breakfast was good, kid friendly and had gluten free options. Coffee was really good and had oat milk! Parking and arrival was top notch.

Ac was a bit loud, no view (specific to our room), elevators' floor need a bit of love. We didn't have breakfast or used the bar, but they seemed very nice.

The location is amazing, the room was quite and spacious (deluxe king bed) (AC could be a little less noisy but didn't keep us awake). The staff is kind and attentive. The common areas are beautifully curated. We didn't get a room with a great view but we will definitely ask for one next time. The view should be amazing. We love the neighborhood, great restaurants at walk distance, 1 block from the lake shore but super quite. We will go back.

Needed a particular type of room that wasn't available, but the hotel accommodated me and went above and beyond to help meet my needs.

Immensely grateful for the exceptional experience at the JdV by Hyatt Ambassador, Chicago. The staff, the views, and the overall ambience felt like a beautiful home away from home. Special shoutout to Felix, who made my arrival at the hotel so heartwarmingly comfortable. The remarkable hospitality from the manager has left me eagerly anticipating my next stay when I'm back in the Windy City.
