The elevator was nasty and the towels were dinghy. The water pressure in the shower was terrible, I've stayed here before they changed owners or management and it was never anything wrong. And I think someone was sleeping in the lobby 🤔

The location is great the price was decent.

When hotels do these renovations, they need to renovate all the way, including fixing the doors, better cleaning, new fixtures, etc. And a $150 deposit for incidentals is ridiculous. That’s more than twice the cost of what our 1 night stay cost, and I’ll be making sure every cent is given back to us.

Overall layout is good

Was too basic no meat like sausage or bacon no scrambled eggs or biscuits and gravy.

The elevator broke down and was never fixed during my later time there. It was very difficult to get my things down three flights of stairs. I was thankful that the staff did help me to do this.

I enjoyed the convenience of the location to my mother's place.

The place was dirty and falling apart. My AC was leaking water and the floor was soaking wet. I stayed like that for days before they switched my room. All the ice machines but one were broken so we had to keep going to the first floor for ice. The breakfast selection was extremely poor.

The location of the property was the only thing i liked.

My bathroom was dirty and there was a bunch of peeling paint and a loud heater. A fresh coat of paint and some air freshener would help.

The manager during in the daytime was rude to me but nice to my husband, I think she was racist because I am white. I couldn't use the toilet in our room it was very low, have very severe problems, in my knees and it is very hard to get up from the toilet without hand rails and she would not let me use the bathroom in the lobby telling me it was out of order but the other front night manager let me use it and it was not out of order we wouldn't stay there again

The only thing I liked was house cleaning staff and the evening management

I was on a drive from Chicago to Carbondale. I had planned to stop at this facility overnight and get a early start the next day. after flying into Chicago and driving to Matteson, I arrived at their desk at 2:05 pm. The lady told me check-in does not happen until 3:00. She was adamant. So, I took my tired body over to the Olive Garden nearby and had an early dinner.

The location was right off of Interstate 57 and next to an Olive Garden.

The Manager calling me the day of check to inform me that there was a 150 incidental charge. I informed her I never been charged that and she stated its on booking.com. I stated to her again I know its there however never been charged. She stated that if for charges if the room is damaged. She also wanted to know if my card was being fraudulently used because I had 9 rooms. I told her no that we were attending an event. We all did not like waiting to be checked out. We had to wait until our rooms were evaluated by staff..again never had this to happen and we all will not be going back there.
