We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaNot enough receptacles for charging electronics, one lamp had the trim from the shade torn and hanging near the floor. Again, it had no impact on the room itself and I found the room reasonably clean. It's a dated hotel, but it served it's purpose.
The hotel was close to everything, restaurants, etc. The room was clean and bed was adequate. Two lamps and the clock by the bed did not work, but it wasn't an issue. Shower had good pressure, was immediately hot and clean.

New CaledoniaEverything is old and worn out. Example: the toilet seat was not connected to the toilet base; it was just sitting on top of the toilet. Have you ever tried taking a dump while slipping back and fourth across the top of a toilet??? Not good; this is a basic item I expect in a motel.
Location to Blue Ridge Parkway. Nightly rate. You could see where a lot of cleaning had taken place, but everything was worn out.

United States of AmericaHousekeeping ignored the do not disturb sign on door and when I checked out she pointed to a sign for me to read. Thought she was very rude. I understand they are to clean everyday, but if there is a sign on door then they need to accommodate their guests that pay to stay there.

United States of AmericaThe place had a odor to room. It needs to be srubbed down and cleaned good. We bought lysol and sprayed the room down. Toilet stopped working on 1st night. They fixed it and the 2nd night it stopped again. Lots of noise from road.

United States of AmericaPillows were flat and thin. There were two couples in our party and we rented 2 rooms. The room on the back side of the motel was quiet while the room on the front side experienced lots of traffic noise. Also the breakfast was sparse - no fresh fruit, yogurt or juice. They had cereal, milk, bagels and bread for toasting.
That they had availability. Very busy week because of fall foliage and local university football game.

Breakfast was a joke - bagels wrapped in saran wrap as was the bread - juice was watered down and not even out - cream cheese was not in individual packs but a pre-used container - nothing was on the counter you had to get it yourself out of the small refer.....did not even waste my time the second day - wife refused to even sit down in the breakfast room! There are many other options - we will not go back!

United States of AmericaThe front lady was trying to force me to get a smoking room with my kid after I told her yes I smoke but not in my home with my kids. She kept saying there is a 100 dollar fine if u smoke in the room. I don't smoke in my home with my kids. It was a little frustrating. Also, the pool wasn't open.
