Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

TV didn't work. Every night I got back to the hotel, my key didn't work and I had to go to the desk to get it rekeyed.
Bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

There were pubic hairs on the bathroom floor and no ice machine. A used lotion bottle was on the sink.
Location was good. The motel was quiet. Room was ok.

The fridge wasn't working well and we had a lot of food with us. They don't have an ice machine, so we had to buy ice.

Not enough receptacles for charging electronics, one lamp had the trim from the shade torn and hanging near the floor. Again, it had no impact on the room itself and I found the room reasonably clean. It's a dated hotel, but it served it's purpose.
The hotel was close to everything, restaurants, etc. The room was clean and bed was adequate. Two lamps and the clock by the bed did not work, but it wasn't an issue. Shower had good pressure, was immediately hot and clean.

Everything is old and worn out. Example: the toilet seat was not connected to the toilet base; it was just sitting on top of the toilet. Have you ever tried taking a dump while slipping back and fourth across the top of a toilet??? Not good; this is a basic item I expect in a motel.
Location to Blue Ridge Parkway. Nightly rate. You could see where a lot of cleaning had taken place, but everything was worn out.

Housekeeping ignored the do not disturb sign on door and when I checked out she pointed to a sign for me to read. Thought she was very rude. I understand they are to clean everyday, but if there is a sign on door then they need to accommodate their guests that pay to stay there.

The place had a odor to room. It needs to be srubbed down and cleaned good. We bought lysol and sprayed the room down. Toilet stopped working on 1st night. They fixed it and the 2nd night it stopped again. Lots of noise from road.
Location good. The staff was very nice.

Not enough towels, rags,soap,etc for a family of 4. No coffee pot. Was in a non-smoking room and I went outside to balcony to smoke and was told by management I couldn't even smoke there!
Location was good. Room was nice. Comfy beds.

Pillows were flat and thin. There were two couples in our party and we rented 2 rooms. The room on the back side of the motel was quiet while the room on the front side experienced lots of traffic noise. Also the breakfast was sparse - no fresh fruit, yogurt or juice. They had cereal, milk, bagels and bread for toasting.
That they had availability. Very busy week because of fall foliage and local university football game.

During booking the amenities for pets said $20.00 per night for dogs...when checking they charged $30.00 per night room cost us $20..00 extra then budgeted.am

The pool is closed and was dry-web site shows active pool - photos need to be remove from web site! Breakfast was a joke - bagels wrapped in saran wrap as was the bread - juice was watered down and not even out - cream cheese was not in individual packs but a pre-used container - nothing was on the counter you had to get it yourself out of the small refer.....did not even waste my time the second day - wife refused to even sit down in the breakfast room! There are many other options - we will not go back!

The front lady was trying to force me to get a smoking room with my kid after I told her yes I smoke but not in my home with my kids. She kept saying there is a 100 dollar fine if u smoke in the room. I don't smoke in my home with my kids. It was a little frustrating. Also, the pool wasn't open.
It was affordable and convenient for our stay
