Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThat smoking is allowed in parts of the hotel and the flies in breakfast room.
Basic packaged pastries, bread and bagels for breakfast. I am not a breakfast person so as long as there is decent coffee, I'm good. I believe they had yogurt. There were a lot of flies in the breakfast room. Hotel is basic rooms, but it was clean and comfortable. The price was a bit high compared to other places we stayed that were much nicer (Gillette, Custer, Bozeman). It was Sturgis week so that may have to do with higher prices. Be careful when you book as they do have smoking rooms which I haven't seen in quite some time, so I accidentally booked one as I was not paying attention or expecting that was a choice. I was able to switch to non-smoking room on first floor. I'm guessing smoking rooms are 2nd floor. We did not smell smoke which was a concern since they allow it in some rooms. There is a distillery and a cafe next door which was nice and the staff at both of those locations was also very nice.

United States of AmericaPrice for the experience. Have stayed in over 500 over the road hotels/motels over the last 10 years (including for work), this was another so-so facility - but was simply overpriced. Breakfast was very minimal. No proteins, nothing that we could really eat. Exposed electrical outlet - the total lack of outlets / one old desk between the beds to serve as a nightstand. overloaded outlets with light/fridge/micro/TV all into one. Very dark and under lit room. no counter space in room. room doors directly across from each other (noise). No elevator or automatic doors (people are coming in loaded with luggage). no luggage carts. gravel parking lot, etc. Many of these could be improved with simple solutions.
Basic but friendly hotel, but very minimal. Service was very good and rooms were OK. Fridge and Micro were very nice. TV was very good. Furniture was very dated and usefulness very limited.

United States of AmericaEven though this hotel was located in a safe area, the windows were open and didn't lock. Also, the chain was missing on the door. We were there on a Sunday so the only food available was from Subway.
Located right off the expressway which was super convenient. Great customer service. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Very good price. Served its purpose for an overnight stay.

United States of AmericaIt is an older hotel and could use some renovations, we didn't mind that, but some people might. The restaurant at this exit closed early, so we had to make supper out of gas station food, and even that had the sandwiches covered because it was close to closing time when we arrived.
Really close to the Badlands Park. We felt safe at this location, lots of other tourists visiting the same sites as us.

Room is clean and AC cool down the room fast at low setting. It's a smaller unit but works well compare to two other hotels we have stay at throughout our trip. Check in and out was straight forward and nice staff.

United States of AmericaThe night we stayed at the ABVI there was tornadoes passing through and on the ground. the motel was knocked out of power as was the rest of the town, we felt like the staff did a fantastic job of keeping everyone safe by having us all gather in the downstairs hallway then they were good enough to open the doors to people coming in off the interstate and offer them a safe place to stay they did a fantastic job with what they had to work with. I would stay here again just maybe not in tornado season!

United States of AmericaI thought it was a little pricey (compared to other places I stayed on my trip), but there aren’t many options, so I guess that’s the price around there.
It was clean and conveniently located for my travels. I had read some reviews where everything “in town” shut down at 7:00pm, but there is a Subway next door that was still open at 8:00 (and possibly later) and a gas station next to that was open until 11:00.
