There was a lot of pot being smoked throughout the hotel. The hotel had a lot of dogs on our end and was immediately told when checking no pets in an abrupt way. I love dogs but did not have my pet with me. Then while staying there a saw quite a few. Smoking wad going on directly outside of our room and you could smell pot through out the hotel. A lot of questionable people . I could not wait to get out of that place.

Breakfast was as expected for a 2 star hotel. The staff was courteous when I came down for coffee after breakfast was over and turned the coffee in for me.

The room looked like they only cleaned the beds and took out the trash. The carpet needed to be vacuumed. It also had some sort of sticky something stuck in a spot in front of the bed. There was long black hair in the bathroom as well.

Pool not in use. I picked hotel thinking my kids could use a swim after the funeral services. Probably not heated but it didn't look great. Pets policy. They obviously had past problems with guests with dogs. We didn't have a dog but the anti pet mentality was permeable. Same with the breakfast food. The 'DO NOT TAKE FOOD TO ROOM' signs were not cool to see. We are all adults here. I'm a frequent hotel guest and wasn't impressed with the ones at the desk when I checked in. Now, the hotel stay was a while back. Sometimes it's better not to say anything if it's not nice. You kept asking. So here's my .02

First of all, the guy who checked me out is exceptional!! Great smile and personality. You want to keep him and raise thru the ranks with. Great location. I used hotel with my kids because of church services for my deceased father. So I appreciated the location. The fact the hotel is on Booking.com is great. Thank you.

Not enough plug in. I had a lamp on my side of the bed and not plugged in and no outlet to plug it up. Also the shower curtain water went right through it, I almost fell getting out of the shower.

Room had some issues- noisy bed(just turning would wake you.) Killed at least 3 roaches- more if you counted really tiny ones.

TV did not work. Reported this 3 times. They fixed it about 4 PM on our second day.

First morning she said they were out of eggs. First morning Biscuits tasted like they were cooked the day before. Second morning had eggs and biscuits were fresher tasting. Wish they would serve gravy.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very nice, however, after come back to my room after lunch, the door was wide open and the lock had been taken off the door. When we called the front desk, the man said that the lock wasn’t working (I assume when housekeeping came, they noticed it wasn’t working.) The issue wasn’t that the lock needed to be changed, but that my valuables were left unattended for who knows how long! Nothing was taken and the lock was changed, but it’s not ok to return to your room with the door standing wide open and all of your things in view of anyone and everyone. After about 20 minutes, the lock was changed and we received a new key.

They did not have my reservation made with Booking.com The 1st room smelled bad and refrigerator was leaking and was on but not cooling properly. Card keys were difficult to use. Reassigned a different room and much nicer. My bags I had to carry. From the first assigned room on 3rd floor to another room that was on 2nd floor.The coffee pot was a joke but I brought mine just in case this happened.

Breakfast was okay. Waffles and scrambled eggs with cereal and milk or instsnt oatmeal. Coffee and several juice flavors.Also an apple to take for later snack.They had an elevator to reach 2nd and 3rd floor. Plenty of hot water and clean towels.The king bed was soft with lots of pillows.

Only one employee spoke broken english, and she got a little aggravated with me when i didnt understand what she was saying. When we needed towels, i had to run about the whole place to find folks that were doing that. I asked politely "may i have some towels please?" I got a blank stare, then i pointed to the towels on the cart and was rewarded with yelling and arm waving and a robust "NO ENGLAY!!! NO ENGLAY!!!!" So that was a bust. I find another housekeeper and bravely asked the same question, and i got my towels. Got to the room and within one minute they are there demanding all the other towels that were in the room when we checked in. Some threatening language of "DIRT TOWEL NOW!!!!" about 3 time before i figured out what the hell they wanted. Lesson learned, i did not dare ask for more towels the next day, for fear of physical repercussions. And i damn sure wasnt going looking for the manager. We checked out first thing the next morning and i felt like hiding those freaking towels but alas i didnt because im a nice girl.

the tub didn’t have a stopper for water to fill up the tub, paint falling off the ceiling, the tub was gritty when you sit/stand in the tub, the refrigerator was rusted on the bottom and did not have a freezer part, well the freezer did not work in the mini fridge.

location was okay, king bed was comfortable, I didn’t want room service because I brought cleaning supplies and my own towels but if you use the towels you can sit them out by your door outside and they will give you clean towels and hang them on the door. the non-smoking rooms are way better you get carpets and the room smells good at least.
