Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Only issue is that the building is old so you can hear noises like people slamming their car doors. But all was quiet by bedtime.
This was our second stay at this nicely updated mid century motel near the nice restaurants in historic downtown Woodland. The room is large and comfortable, the beds were good and the shower pressure excellent.

Wi-Fi was iffy. TV had few channels.
Comfortable bed and great shower. I appreciate the microwave and refrigerator in-room.

This is a motel, not hotel. It’s and older building so walls are thin, you can really hear cat noises from the parking lot right outside the room, when anyone runs water, walks past your room, etc., so I got very little sleep with noise going on all night long. I usually run the fan so it masks some of the noises, but the fan in this room was really quiet so it wasn’t much help. I’m a light sleeper so it may not bother other people but I wouldn’t stay again just due to the noise. There is no coffee on the room and they have coffee in the office, but not available until 8:30 am.
We were just looking for a place to stay overnight to be near Sac airport for early flight. We didn’t need a place with breakfast since were leaving early. The rate was under $100 so with parking at the airport it was much cheaper than booking a ‘park and fly’ hotel. The front desk staff were great. Room was clean. Great water pressure. Comfortable bed. Smart TV was a nice surprise so I could stream my Netflix account.

Booking. Com said DOGS ALLOWED and had breakfast, but neither was true. Dogs had to stay in car, BAD.

The owners called at 10:00 to remind us to leave by 11. Then they called at 10:50 to tell us we had 10 minutes. The parking lot looked like that scene from Independence Day -- everyone outside throwing suitcases in their trunk. Rude

I didn't like they charge a deposit of $100 That's not fair I was on a budget ,that was unforeseen and had to made a loan from a friend to cover that.
I basically liked everything except the unforeseen.

I have no quibbles regarding my two night stay.
I stayed in a two queen-sized bed room. The beds were quite comfortable. The room and the separate bathroom were very clean and well-maintained. With the fan on at night, street noise was minimal. The Inn is located on Main Street a small distance from the main downtown area of Woodland. The town is small so that access to several highways and state roads is good.

The room only has very basic facilities, but the price is reasonable.
I like the clean and spacious room. The office manager is very polite and helpful.

A clean room with comfortable beds. Convenient load/unload into the room on the ground floor. Great value stay near the Sacramento airport. The location within the town of Woodland was a bonus as there were lots of convenience stores nearby.

We were happy to land at the Journey Inn outside Sacramento, after a long day of travelling. The owner kindly allowed us to switch rooms to the lower floor to allow us easy access to bring all our luggage inside. The room was clean and quite modern, we were very comfortable at Journey Inn!
