For individual rooms, it would be nice to have air conditioning for hot days. On my one day there, I miss it a lot. Apart from this topic, I believe my stay was amazing.

The location is amazing, near Union Square. In almost less than 1 km it is possible to take a metro to the airport and the famous cable car in power street.

Nice, spacious and tidy rooms. Good location, easy accesible to all the attractions on foot or by public transport. Kind employes, we had to adapt our trip due to flight cancelation and they were very helpful.

The rooms are not very soundproofed, so you can hear people going past. As we were on the same floor as the kitchen, this happened often.

The hostel was clean, comfortable and secure. Our private room had a small private courtyard which was a nice place to relax at the end of the day. Rooms were compact, but didn’t feel cramped, even with 2 double beds. Location is a fair way away from tourist sites, but easy to get public transport and (relatively) easy to walk to them.

very bad sound proof. wear ear plugs but still noisy. couple staff in the first day were not friendly when i had trouble for checking in. zero smile at all. staff in the second day were much better. dots on the comforter and sheet, but not a big problem.

Nothing, I had no issues.

The room I had, 107, was fantastic. Bed was comfortable, room was modern looking and clean. Wish there was maybe a small tv in there, but for the price, they really can't be beat for stating right in San Francisco. Staff were also very generous about storing my luggage for the rest of the day, even after I had checked out, Buses run within a block of the hotel, so very easy to get to anywhere in the city.

The bed was not very comfortable and the rooms are small. The pictures look better than the actual room but ist ok.

The staff was really friendly. It's near Union Square and there are many busstops and the Cable cars near the hostel. It was clean.

We booked a queen room and got a room with 2 double beds. The fridges in the kitchen were gross and had milk and who knows what else spilt through it. We could hear people in the rooms above us stomping around at 2-4am. You could hear everything in the hallway as well. And there was never any forks and limited spoons in the kitchen to use. Also the laundry isn’t open till 4:30pm and when we went to use it just after 4:30pm, the staff said we couldn’t for another couple of hours as they were still using the machines.

The seating area for the kitchen was limited so it was hard to find space to sit down, but generally the facilities were okay. The room was small for 4 of us in two beds, with limited space for luggage.

Good location in town. We had a private room which had comfortable beds and our own bathroom which we appreciated. The kitchen was sufficient for us though utensils were a bit few. For our two night stay for sightseeing it served us very well.

The room was missing a hand soap in the bathroom and a TV despite them being in featured in the room’s photos and description. It would be nice if the room had a hand towel in the bathroom too.

The hostel is walkable to attractions and about a 15-minute walk to Powell Street station, making it well-connected to other areas like Serramonte. Towels and linens were also provided during our stay. We like that the ensuite bathroom came equipped with shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. The property also had a water refill station on the first floor, along with vending machines for snacks and drinks.

Sometimes, there is no hot water. Only warm. There is a homeless/drug issue in downtown SF.

Location, 15 to 20 mins walk to China Town and Little Italy restaurants. Near main bus routes. 15 mins walk from BART Train to Airport Bunk beds comfy.

It is a hostel so you have to be comfortable to share rooms and or bathrooms. I didn't have a negative experience there, but I also only stayed there to sleep 2 nights.

The beds were clean and the bathroom too, if you are on a low budget it is a great hostel. The location is very convenient.

Staff really didn’t care or make any effort to welcome us. The walls were very thin and you could hear people in the hallway as well as the plumbing throughout the building. Parking is offsite, and cost for overnight parking was $40. The cost they shared with us was listed for less money, and when I told staff the prices went up and the company changed, they fully lied to my face and said the parking company changes all the time. When I spoke to the parking staff prior they said their company changed a year ago. I really felt like the staff didn’t care about us and it put a damper on the experience. People seemed to smoke directly in front of the stairs/entrance and it was gross having to walk through it.

Although the bathrooms were really nice and the soaps were lovely- the shower head was positioned really awkwardly and couldn’t be adjusted. The water kinda sprayed horizontally rather than downwards and couldn’t be altered. That was the only fault.
