Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThere were a few minor things to be expected from a 2 star motel. The breakfast was lack luster.
The location is why I booked here. There are definitely nicer places in Saint Augustine. However, at this price point, there's not a ton of choices.

United States of AmericaThe staff was very friendly. The room was clean and stocked. The location was great. Close to dining, drinks, live entertainment, and a nice walk over the bridge to St. Augustine historical district. Also, a short drive to beaches.

United States of AmericaThe beds could have been more comfortable as it felt like we were sleeping on the box springs. It's an older property (though maintained well) and the pool is extremely small. There was no coffee shop nearby unless we were willing to go across the bridge into St. Augustine proper and fight with parking. The one coffee shop that was advertised as being nearby was out of business.
Check in was easy and the room and surrounding area was clean. Parking lot was small and a little tight, but parking was free which was nice. It was very centrally located to everything we wanted to see and do there. It's on a somewhat busy road but the road noise was minimal. The refrigerator worked well and there was a microwave and coffeemaker in the room as well.

United States of AmericaLocated right near the bridge of lions and downtown St. Augustine. Had muffins and coffee in the mornings for us. The room was very clean and the staff was affable. You can walk to a couple restaurants and over the bridge if you desire. Perfect affordable inn!

United States of AmericaThe room had a very strong deodorizer smell. The bed was higher at the foot than it was at the head. Pillows on the bed were way too soft. The mini refrigerator has to be turned all the way up to even get cold.
Location wasn't too far from downtown. Tv in the room was great. Room was clean and spacious. Window unit worked well.

Andorraneeds upgrading, everything is quite old and stuffy. A/C is split unit and is quite noisy.
Weekend in St. Augustine is expensive and this hotel belonged to the lower priced, although still high. Probably much cheaper during week days.

United States of AmericaThere are a number of things that could be improved. One that cannot is the weird layout with the sink just inside the outside door. The mattresses could stand updating to something more modern. Also, they had uncomfortable plastic protective mats right under the sheets. There are no electrical outlets available on the bedside tables to plug in anything. (fortunately we travel with an extension cord and multi-plug adapters) The TV was small. The note on the back of the door indicates keys should be left in the office, but it opens late. We left at 7:15 and the door was still locked.
We really like the location away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The price is good for the St Augustine area.
