Very clean, and well cared for visually. What we found that wasn't ok, wall sockets so worn they won't hold a plug from falling out of the socket. THAT'S A FIRE HAZARD. The TV had no guide to help selecting a channel with desired programs. The guide we were given from the front desk wasn't for our cable service. The bathtub had to be serviced during our stay because the drain was broken. If you're an older couple request a 1st floor room, the stairs are steep. Be good to let folks know that there isn't any elevator.

Anchor Inn had hot water problem so we were rebooked in Marina Bay next door, which was excellent. Close to Assatigue Island for an excellent birding experience.

The room we were in needs a new shower head.

There was a mix up in our reservation when we arrived. It was quickly resolved, and we were upgraded to a nicer room for free. Excellent staff!

Initially we were given the wrong room but they corrected that. The parking is tight towards the docks. Very limited toiletries. They could have been more generous there for three adults. No dish clothes or dish soap to wash dishes even though I booked specifically for the kitchenette area.

The location off the water and the sunset views were fantastic. The fire pits by the pool looked nice but space was always taken so you might go early if you want a seat.

Limited linens. Not offered dish washing material for the kitchen and it’s supplies. A/C was absolutely dirty. Cleaned the filter and vents myself. The screen was very broken. No guide for the TV.

Absolutely beautiful views! Great options for cooking outside. Love the fire pits. The pool was very w.

The bathroom tub curtains are not long enough from side to side to keep water in without checking it during showering because if you bump them, they side easily out of place. They should fix that immediately bc some aren't as decent as we are and will knowingly not care.

Kids love the pool. I Love this place. I feel safe there with kids. The refrigerator worked great! Wish I'd known how nice it really was before making arrangements. I'd saved some money on eating out. When I stay there again I will ask for this very room. This is our 4th time staying at Anchor Inn. That says a lot.

The price per night was rather high. I think we paid less for an amazing chateau in the Swiss Alps with a view of the Matterhorn!

The room was clean and spacious. Beds were a bit odd with a hump running down the center so you had to choose one side or the other instead of sleeping in the middle but there were plenty of pillows and nice bedding. The air con. worked well. We had the family suite and the kitchen had a full sized fridge, The water view and docked boats were within view from the balcony. Easy, convenient parking right outside our room. Breakfast was in the nearby Marina Bay hotel. Good choices included hot food and new items each morning. The pool looked nice but there were always lots of kids in it so we didn't go in.

I wish we would have known that the pool and breakfast required us to walk to the Marina Hotel. It wouldn't have been a deal breaker, we liked how quiet the Anchor in was. Just would have liked to know before we got there.

The view was gorgeous, and the walkability to town was perfect. Walked to dinner several nights. We did ask for a room on the second floor, but were unable to get that. Breakfast had a good variety,

We were on the lower level so we could here the people above us. At some times they were loud, the walls are thin but it wasn’t too much of a big deal. This wasn’t a problem but just a heads up to anyone that the breakfast, pool, fitness room, and the check in and out was all apart of the hotel next door; the Marina Bay Hotel.

The stay at the Anchor Inn was very nice. The location was awesome! The staff was always helpful and kind! When we asked for more towels we had them when we came back from being at the beach. The hotel is in a great location, close to stores and only 15 minutes from the beach.

The bathroom was a little disappointing. The toilet paper holder had been ripped out of the wall by previous guests, the shower water temperature would suddenly go ice cold and then back hot again, and the tub would not drain without holding the lever down. Finally, it would have been nice if the shower had a wand.

Breakfast was only okay the first morning, but had a better selection of hot items the second morning. The location was great, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful.
