Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaDescription of the room was incorrect. It says "with terrace and view" but in fact it is "with terrace view", so there is no terrace in the room.
Nice location, historical center. A lot of bars and restaurants are around. New hotel, all good.

United States of AmericaTwo of the nights it was a little loud outside (close to a few college age clubs) so it was harder to fall asleep. Thankfully, it wasn’t every night though.
My husband and I loved how close the Andaz was to the historic district. We were able to walk to so much so easily! It was also beautifully maintained. All of the staff were so kind and helpful.

United States of AmericaVallet parking is a little pricey…. Being a customer there I thought it could have been a little cheaper but over all everything was nice
Everyone was so nice! Room was perfect. It was our 50th wedding anniversary and they treated us like a king and queen! Rosa in housekeeping made sure the room was perfect… Stephen the concierge gave us recommendations of things to do and they all were good! It was just a perfect stay!

ItalyWe used the valet parking. It was 4pm check-in when we arrived, and it appeared that there was only one valet for several cars. We had to circle the block for twenty minutes waiting to pull up. I actually got out of the car and completed checking in before my husband parked. Our first morning at breakfast, my eggs were wrong. The server stumbled over what they were supposed to be when delivering them. She knew it wasn't right. I did not send them back because it had taken so long to receive our coffee and water. Breakfast was included, but all that was explained was that we ordered off the menu. What breakfast included means a 50 dollar credit is applied, which is fine but that is useful to know when ordering. One day, a gratuity was automatically added, and the next it was not. It lacked a bit of consistency. I was not happy with the view. The description on booking says "with terrace and a view". It means you will be looking at the pool and a flat area they call a terrace. I mistakenly thought terrace meant a little outdoor space like a balcony, not communal space by the pool. I would stay there again, but I would select a different room.
The location was fantastic. During our second and third days at breakfast, we had wonderful servers. The bar was really great, too. The hotel has a concierge to assist guests, I had already booked tours, but they provided really useful information about the layout of the city and a few protips on getting around. The complimentary water, soda, and snacks were really nice and appreciated.

United States of AmericaThe hotel property is pretty old and not maintained so well. Room is very noisy at night, we were on the park side during the weekend. They charge $49 /day for parking. Do yourself a favor and skip breakfast, it gives you 50 dollars a day at their cafe which is terrible.
Most of the stuff were very nice and kind! They offer s’mores for the fire pit which is a really great idea. The pool is cute but a little small.

We love the location in the historical district and close to restaurants and bars. Also close to the waterfront. The room was a good size, we got a Loft. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and well stocked.
