Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaStaff was short with us when we just wanted basic guidance. Didn't exactly feel welcome. If we asked any question we were made to feel stupid. Only one friendly person and thats when we checked out. Really killed the otherwise cool vibe. Room was very small. Could barely walk around the bed.
Beautiful rooms with breathtaking view. Unique experience. Quirky details. Rooftop bar (not really for families past 7 lol felt like we were interrupting a club party, wish we'd been warned we were just hungry). Lots of art and music. The comfiest bed and nice bathroom and shower.

United States of AmericaThe construction that was outside of our window that started first thing in the morning. Also the staff walked into our room twice before I could get to the door despite not having the “Room needs service” tag hung up.
The rooftop bar and the view provided was great. The overall location of the hotel was great as well with only being a half mile away from the venue we were going to.

United States of AmericaI didn't get breakfast because my friend said it is not free on breakfast. I don't know why so I didn't got it.
Location is okay because it has a good parking lot downstairs and it is free for the visitors who live in the hotel.

United States of AmericaThe receptionist could’ve used some personality and we could’ve used a microwave in the room.
The stay wasn’t bad but check in was like a robot was checking me in. The receptionist wasn’t rude but had no personality at all and was not informative at all. It was like I was supposed to know everything about my stay without being told anything about it. It was a different place and loved the art work around along with the different colored rooms. We were in a yellow room which was one of the kids favorite colors so that was nice. We could’ve used a microwave but the room had no microwave. I think the bed was amazing and very comfortable, so it was an ok stay for two nights but not sure worth what we paid to stay. We could’ve stayed at the Hilton for a few more bucks and been right across from Busch Stadium. Not terrible though

United States of AmericaThe HVAC was LOUD! Check if the grates are loose, they loudly vibrated every time the system kicked on. Provide more regular coffee instead of so much tea. One cup for each of us was not enough. Provide an ironing board. It was challenging to iron a shirt on a bath towel on the bathroom counter.
Room was clean and comfortable. Lotions & soaps were lovely.

United KingdomI didn’t love the location
The rooftop was really appreciated since we arrived quite late and there weren’t many food options around the hotel, everywhere closes at 9pm anyway.

AustriaMy room wasn't ready even though it was long after check-in time had passed. In the end, I had to have a different room to the one I had booked.
The bartender at the bar was just the best!! The artwork was also really interesting and the location worked well.

United States of AmericaHotel is worn & most definitely not a a 4-star hotel. No luggage racks in the room, very few outlets & inconvenient. None had USB ports. kitchen area without anything - no dishes, utensils, not even dish soap or a towel. Despite asking for kitchen towel, had to use bathroom towels as none were given. Absolutely no notices were in the room - no idea when to check-out, fire escape route, etc. Living room area lacked lighting - only option was canned ceiling lighting, which was way too bright (no dimmers)) or an artsy floor lamp of no value. Sofa was completely worn out. Living room, in general, lacked comfort - one sofa, no foot rest, no table lamps, just a wall-mounted t & a sofa. Floors carpeted but hadn’t been vacuumed in quite awhile. Housekeeping daily, but minimal effort & ignored requests for specifics like additional K-cups.
Nice location, walkable distance from a few restaurants & easy access to other areas of St Louis. Bed comfortable, off-street parking appreciated even with the added cost.

United States of AmericaThe only thing I didn't care for was not any reflection on the building or staff. There were loud patrons in the hallway late at night every little bit for a couple of hours. It probably just means people were having a good time on Saturday night.
Loved the aesthetic of the whole building. The art installations as you enter set the whole vibe.

United States of AmericaDespite a late checkout of noon, housekeeping knocked on our door every 30 minutes beginning at 8:30 AM. We also got in a little late, and struggled to get into the building. After calling someone who was not even on site, we finally got through to someone who could let us in.
The hotel was beautiful and perfectly located. The room was comfortable, clean and fun.

United States of AmericaIt was very disappointing because we had free passes for breakfast and when we came up we were told the chef didn't show up and it looked like the other chef was in the back kitchen sleeping because he came out later and I heard them mention that he was sleep. Even when he came out he did not try to address the eight patrons in the bar wanting to eat. He provided milk for an employee to eat her breakfast but did not address or care that we were not eating and only had danishes. Very unprofessional. It looks like there was a huge investment to make this a classy place and this was the lowest I've seen in a long time
This is one of the most beautiful boutique art inspired hotels I've been to. The rooms and the location as beautiful as it gets in the St Louis area. Our blue room was beautiful and just an all-around great place to be if you're visiting the area near the St Louis University campus. Love the rooftop bar and the mini conversational areas throughout the hotel. It seems like the cleaning staff was cleaning the bathrooms and the elevators every hour The place was immaculate
