Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaWe stayed 2 nights, and wanted cleaning service during our visit. The bathroom was cleaned, but the beds were left unmade, and the cups and coffee pot were left unwashed.
The room as well as the bathroom were large and clean. The beds were comfortable. The building and the surroundings were well-kept. The manager was very friendly, and helpful. The grocery store was across the street, the restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.

Better than expected for a motel, Cleanest room I have seen. Not cheap but not much choice in town. Friendly staff and extremely clean. Good amenities and decent sized room. Highly recommend.

I booked this as a last-minute stay while I was in the area. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I usually try to avoid motels as they can be noisier, but I didn’t hear anything all night at this place. I especially appreciated the regular coffee maker with 12 cup capacity, the REAL flatware and cloth napkins, the REAL coffee mugs, and the little chocolates left on the pillows. I would definitely book again were I in the area

GreeceAs previously discussed with Antlers' manager, I was put off by promotion on Booking.com site of Antlers Motel as having free cancellation. Once I'd booked, I was told there was in fact a 20% fee for changing or cancelling. This is clearly deceptive, and a problem. I have sensitive skin, and the sheets and towels had clearly been washed in something with a pervasive artificial scent. This is very common now, but is a problem for many people. A top I wore to bed still smells of artificial scent after being laundered at home. I strongly urge you to use detergent without perfumes or dyes. There was a small desk with chair, but faced the wall, so one couldn't eat while watching the TV, as many do. Would have been nice to have a small "TV tray" or small table to use for eating, etc.
The room was very clean, and it was obvious the housekeeping staff took their jobs seriously. I appreciated there being plenty of towels, and pillows. It was also nice to have many satelite TV channels available. The front desk staff made every effort to answer my questions about hiking trails, etc. I was traveling with a therapy dog, and appreciated being able to walk him nearby to the Motel. I liked that there was a 'poo bag' stand nearby (tho I used my own bags) and a hose for me to top up my dog's water bowl in the car.

United States of AmericaWe stayed here one night when visiting Lassen NP. Chester is about 40 mins from the park, but everything closer was booked. That ended up being ok since Chester has restaurants, stores and gas. The room was updated, cozy, clean and despite the motel being fully book - quiet! It was well equipped with microwave, frig, coffee maker, good wifi and as an added bonus a little fireplace (which we didn't use). The owner(?) who checked us in was one of the nicest we had our whole trip. He gave us a great suggestion for dinner which was within walking distance!

This motel deserves a 10+. Our expectations were not that high but it was by far the best place we have stayed in for the last several years, including much more expensive establishments. Wish there was a reason to return to Chester just so we could stay there. Lots of lovely and thoughtful touches throughout the room.
