The sound of the airport Monday thru Sunday, night and day. Jet and helicopter are landing and taking off all the time.

The accommodation was sparkling clean and extremely well equipped. We were able to cook in the kitchen, and taking breakfast in front of the water canal watching manatees is a real treat. We slept extremely well, the mattresses were vercomfortablele. Spacious enough for 4, plenty of space for your family. You have a laundry room on si, e and They are dog friend, y which is a huge bonus. We were able to take some kayak for free and it was really awesome to enjoy the pool.The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. It was a great experience that exceeded all our expectations.i will recommend this accommodation to all my friends.

The unit needed hooks for drying/hanging items. There were no hooks to hang a towel while getting out of the shower. Also the gray water from shower and sinks went directly out to the ocean. We worry about the environment so found this a little worrisome. They provided eco friendly soaps so felt a little better because of that.

We loved the unit. It was small but functional. The resort was well kept. We loved the sunsets at the point. We also liked that they had bikes and kayaks available for use.

Suggestion: The holding tank needs dumped more often than just once a week.

They could add partitions or screens on the "porch" of the aqualodge for a little more privacy.

Everything about this place was excellent! Staff was friendly and responsive to questions and needs. The location is easy to get to and centrally located to explore the other Keys.

The houseboat was amazing, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and let us check in early which was perfect. Would highly recommend on your way to, or way back from, Key West

When it’s windy outside it tends to be noisy as the sunscreen in the balcony keeps knocking against the wall.

I could have used volume on the tv and I wasn’t sure how to control AC.

This was my first time in an aqua lodge and my daughter and I were pleasantly surprised. It was clean, comfortable, and we loved being right in the water.

It was a unique experience to stay on a boat. We utilized the free kayaks. We loved the warm pool. We saw several manatees off the dock one day. The area to view the sunset was relaxing and beautiful. Being close to the airport did not bother us a bit and we didn't have bathroom smells that some reviews I read had mentioned. Nice fridge and kitchen area for meals on the deck overlooking the water. Close to the Turtle Hospital and Sombrero Beach where we did great mangrove kayaking. Close to the Seven Mile Bridge and plenty of restaurants in the area. Can be in Key West for a day trip in about an hour and 15 minutes. Definitely recommend!

I loved coconut cay. We stayed in one of the house boats. My husband and my 14 yr old daughter and her friend. The location is amazing. Loved having coffee every morning from the front of the house boat. The house boat was very clean and stocked with full kitchen. Large fridge was nice and they provide paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, start coffee supplies and large shampoo, conditioner and soap built in to shower. The pool was very nice and we all loved hanging out there. The beach area at the end of the resort has a tropical island feel and was the perfect place to watch the sunset. We used kayaks one day and paddled in the canal. Some guys fished off the canal every day, but we did not bring our stuff or my husband would’ve done that as well. Had concerns about the houseboat motion and noise. Neither were a problem for us. The AC unit works Great! One night it got windy and you could feel the boat a bit more, but nothing that interrupted our stay or sleep. The back bedroom was perfect for my husband and I. The small bedroom is tiny, just the bed. But there is plenty of room in the loft or living room for luggage.

When it’s windy, need to remember the boat house will rock and if you’re sensitive to that it may be uncomfortable
