Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

The environment, the surroundings, the interior of the motel was pretty good.

United States of AmericaThe outdoor settings and surroundings of the hotel are in progress, that was surprising with the pictures on booking. It is more a snack breakfast that is included with the room, that should be said on Booking.
The rooms were renovated, clean and comfortable. The staff was welcoming.

United States of AmericaThin walls, tiny bathroom, squeaky bed, curtains didn't help block the sun at all.
Looks shady as hell from the outside, but the inside is okay, especially if you view the room from the one uncomfortable armchair.

SwitzerlandFloor, staff, sockets: The floor was unbelievably dirty. If the owners buy a VACUUM CLEANER and start cleaning the floor once a week at least (and maybe mop) then this would be a quite nice motel with a much better rating! This hard floor felt like it´s not been cleaned in months. My black socks turned thick-white-dirty, so I had to throw them in the trash and walk in the shoes instead, what I normally avoid to do in cleaned rooms. When I've tried to mention that at check-out the person at the reception immediately turned away and walked off without listening or saying anything. Lack of available power sockets could be fixed with extra cables from behind the furniture.
Maybe the most quiet of the cheaper accomations west of Williams. The loud Interstate´s AND the super frequent cargo train´s noise are here both far enough not to disturb at all. Huge TV with lots of functions (I could not understand the remote control however). Cheap furniture, but newly painted and refurbished.

United KingdomThe name still haunts me....travellers should be aware that it is absolutely nowhere near a canyon and certainly not on the edge of anything worth visiting.
Room was a bit of an upgrade since the Ash Fork Inn days. Flat screen TV offers quite a selection of channels. Room was ok but not one of the best on offer .Room heated well . Fridge provided.

United KingdomBreakfast was provided but absolutely no assistance provided, especially with gadgets not found elsewhere. Air conditioner so loud. Still so concerned about labelling it Canyon's Edge since it is absolutely nowhere near a canyon . Grand Canyon is a good 2 hours drive + so the word Edge is so misleading. Nice marketing ploy though.
Check in was fairly quick. Room rate very reasonable. Classic 60's feel to it.

United States of AmericaWhen I went to the office for breakfast all I found was a Keurig machine without any coffee K-cups and instant oatmeal packets - that was it. Nobody was around.
I liked the location, the room was clean and it was quiet.

LithuaniaThey said that they had a breakfast bar. Well, about that. It was nothing like breakfast, they had pop tarts, oatmeal bars from amazon and that’s it. We wanted to make coffee, but water was dirty. So that’s about it.

United States of AmericaBasic motel room, but roomier than a lot we'd stayed in on our 12 day road trip. It was basic, but clean and good access. Town only had 1 restaurant we could find and wasn't open all day, but had good food and was nice. We understand 2 new truck stops going in in the near future, so might be some updates coming here. People were friendly, and location was just what we needed.

United States of AmericaMuch older motel. Reminds me of classic road side motels from the 1970's. Very soft beds, old worn out rug and TV which is a Roku TV only worked on one movie app. But it was good for the price and location.
Close to the highway and Grand Canyon. Staff were very friendly. There was a small breakfast area in the lobby (separate building).
