Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PortugalHotel collaborators are not friendly. The breakfast is not like the continental breakfast type; it is typically asiatic, having also a lot of processed food (e.g. cakes are not homemade, etc.); we couldn't eat anything. Also, all the cutlery, plates, and cups, used in breakfast are disposable which is not environmental-friendly and should be immediately reversed. Rooms soundproofing is poor: possible to hear people in other rooms and airplanes. Also, curtains let light/sun come in. A typical 2/3 stars hotel, but globally OK and a good place to stay while visiting NYC.
The Asiatic Hotel is located in the heart of Queens, having direct subway connection to Manhattan. This is a safe neighborhood and there are always people on the street even at night. Very clean with very comfortable beds. For the NYC prices, it is a good value for money and a recommended place to stay while visiting the city.

United KingdomAfter a week of travelling we were looking forward to unpacking and not having to live out of a suitcase for a week. The room was very small with no storage at all so we did have to live out of a suitcase after all! Not much of a selection of food at breakfast and Housekeeping had to be ordered daily otherwise there was no change of towels or bins emptied.
Excellent location not far from the subway, shops and many restaurants, mostly Asian as the hotel name suggests! Within walking distance of Citi Field had the weather been better. Bed comfortable and everything clean. We didn't have much interaction with staff, but those we did speak to were polite and helpful.

United States of AmericaI think it's a little too pricy for me for the value. However, compared to the other options available at the time, it was a good price. I wish there was either more room in the breakfast area or that we were allowed to bring the breakfast upstairs. The hotel was pretty booked so there were not that many available chairs.
The view was really nice! Loved the location. Very close to the main food street and there was easily accessible subway stations nearby. The room felt clean and comfortable. The size of the room makes sense for the New York/Queens area. They provided water in the lobby and the provided breakfast seemed good. You are also able to borrow umbrellas!

United States of AmericaNothing we didn’t like.
The property was pretty when walking through the front door. Staff was courteous. The room was nice: clean, best sheets and bed we have slept in for awhile. Good view from our window. Bathroom was clean with hot water for the showers. There was an older tub/shower and would have liked a grab bar for getting in and out of tub. The breakfast was lovely with lots of options.

South AfricaThere was nothing to complain about. Just worth a mention is that the key card was a little difficult to operate sometimes. It took us awhile to work out how to operate it. Push the card as deep into the slot as possible and pull it out quickly. Be careful not to damage the magnetic strip.
The hotel is close to a subway and bus station. Check in was quick and the staff are very efficient. The room is large and spotlessly clean. Beds are comfortable. We had a microwave and mini fridge in the room. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It is easy to get into Manhattan, which we did daily. (The 7 train is also one of the cleanest trains we travelled on, and the passengers are courteous.) The Skyview shopping centre is a 5 min walk away from the hotel. There is a grocery store (Target) as well as other retail stores and eateries.

ColombiaThe information reviewed needed to be clarified to understand the site's location; although it has access to the train within a short distance, the travel times do not facilitate tourism. The hotel is comfortable; it has a good breakfast and related prices/services. However, there are opportunities for improvement with the room door opening system, and it should be made clear in the comments that it is located in an area with a high flow of informal markets.

EgyptBreakfast is really a very bad experience The guy that is standing in the kitchen keeps tracking you and the food you take He is very rude He sometimes keeps cleaning the sink and a minute later he do food refills The breakfast is from 7am till 10am 10am exactly he closes the kitchen and forces whoever is inside and still eating to exit A very very bad breakfast experience I usually had breakfast in another place at Manhattan. Keycards stops working everyday and you have to give them to the front desk to reset
