Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bathroom shower could use an upgrade but it's not horrible. The water pressure is still good. I paid $742 for a Thursday-Sunday stay.
Vino Inn and Suites had nice adjoining rooms that was ample room for all of us. The adjacent balcony was a pleasant surprise.

There was an odd smell to the room, almost as if someone had smoked in the room prior to us.
staff was very friendly, they allowed us to check in early for a wedding. Beds were very comfortable.

Would have given the place a higher rating but didn't like the fact that they still use COVID as an excuse to not make the beds while there ... makes no sense since they have to make them when you leave. Probably worse is that this lack of service was not mentioned up front!
The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Had a nice refrigerator and MV and good size bathroom.

Be aware that the pool is not heated and is quite cold until nature warms it up - which hadn't happened by late March.
Room was large, clean and well appointed. Property is walking distance to everything in central Atascadero. Better value than I expected.

There was no closet nor hooks for clothes. The carpet and furnishings are a bit worn, especially the bed. There was an unpleasant smell in our particular room. The most frustrating aspect was the low water pressure in the shower.
The room was very spacious and tastefully furnished. Everything - TV, microwave, fridge, hairdryer, etc. - worked. There was adequate parking and we were close to everything. And unlike many hotels these days, daily housekeeping was offered. There was a small back patio which was pleasant.

Ice machine was malfunctioning, which we didn't know until moments before we had to leave for appointments. As I mention in the 'likes', noisy neighbors were an issue, but the management handled it quickly.
Staff was excellent and friendly. When we had issues with noisy neighbors, they handled the issue quickly. The room was large and open, this allowed us all space and comfort. WiFi service was good. Looked as though our room had a recent renovation, the beds were very comfortable and bathroom was spacious and clean.

Too many outside bright lights came in throw the back door. Not enough darkness. Too hard to sleep with all the bright lights shinning in .back door need a shade tarp or something

The restrooms weren’t that clean, the carpet was dirty. Some lights didn’t work. The heater in one of the rooms was old and very loud. The place needs an upgrade.

Cannot think of anything I was disappointed in.
Clean Room and friendly staff. The whole motel has been upgraded since I first stayed here 8 years ago. The bed was very comfortable. For me with my bad back this is a necessity. The location is ideal. Staying here you are within walking distance of several fun restaurants and bars. It is also a good location to go wine tasting in the Paso region. The price is significantly cheaper than many of the surrounding hotels and represents good value. So much so I have stayed here twice in the last 6 weeks. It is my go to motel when I go wine tasting in the Paso Area or Edna Valley.

I think there was no coffee in the office area.
For no extra charge they allowed me to check in. I had to be at a wedding the time of check in. I need to change and freshen up. They made sure that my room was cleaned first so I could check in early! I was very impressed with that.
