Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe pool wasn't open to use. They gave two different explanations, it opened after Memorial Day and that it hadn;t been cleared by the health department.
The room was neat and clean. The lobby looked good. The lounge was nice. The pool area looked like it could be nice. The location is convenient. The staff was nice.

Everybody is always so nice. Great location. The area feels safer than around some of the other hotels. Easy walk to the Tabernacle.

United States of AmericaI wish it could stay a doubletree beacause it’s the only one in downtown/midtown Atlanta!
The location was great, when they finish remodeling it would be much easier to find the entrance. The building is well taken care of and the staff was super helpful and accommodating! The area is downtown Atlanta so you never know who you’ll meet but there were food options and stores in walking distance.

United States of AmericaThe construction. I realize it's temporary though. I wasn't overly impressed with the dress code of the front desk staff. It wasn't a sharp image. Snack machines and coffee stations should be relocated out of the main lobby area. Was there a second, smaller lobby off the main lobby? Inoperable elevators wasn't a good look either. I chalked it all up to construction woes.
Love the historical backstory. Love the overnight auditor customer service. Loved the terrace feature with each hotel room. Loved the pool area —although I didn't get a chance to enjoy it. Next time. Loved the late checkout option. Loved the retro mini fridge. Loved the room's spaciousness and heightened ceiling. Loved the city view of the ferris wheel. Loved the mid-century mod decor —especially the sliding bathroom door handle. What a great throwback detail. Loved the big, wide hotel room doors and classic woodwork design. Loved the foyer space of the room on the fifth floor rooms. Is it like that throughout the hotel? Hope so. Loved the little sitting areas on each floor off the elevator.

United States of AmericaIt had an off putting smell. They were also doing construction so it made getting around the property not as pleasant. They also didn’t have an ATM or anyway to get cash for the valet.
The room was nice.

MexicoThey are still working on the front entrance so there is not very much space for loading and unloading. You can't really use the pool when it is still cool outside. Breakfast is not included and costs more than $20 a person. There was no shower gel, only shampoo and conditioner. The only microwave is down in the lobby. The parking they offer is $55 a day. If you park less than a block over in America Mart, you can prepay for about $25 a day using Spot Hero.
We loved the location. It was a quick easy walk to Centennial Park. In the morning we would pop in at Waffle House and grab breakfast. The beds were comfy, the view from the king sized room with balcony was nice. Comfy chairs on the balcony and almost everything is new inside the hotel right now. The workout equipment is brand new and had all the weights my husband was looking for.
