The website and confirmation mentioned a pool, and we had planned on it. Disappointed that it wasn't open. Same for a restaurant. However, the room was nice and clean. Everyone we encountered on staff was pleasant and helpful.

It was fine. Standard fare. Several good choices I would have appreciated real silverware for breakfast. Less plastic overall would be nice.

(Please note this is me being really critical - as stated in "What I liked about this property" this hotel is very sufficient at being a good stop over on for a quick nights rest.) No elevator to second floor - no biggie for me but it did make me regret packing quite so much. There is some road noise that could probably be negated by thicker curtains and better windows that would help block the sound. The room needed painted - walls were scuffed throughout. All the beautiful woodwork could most definitely use some wood oil rubbed onto it to bring back it's lustre. The bathroom could use upgrades - I always love to see beautiful hotel bathrooms and, while clean, this one was lacking all the nice hotel appeal. It isn't a large bathroom so some nice finishes would have major visual impact. The towels were tiny and thin. There was no wonderful/oversized comforter on the bed. The bed linens were thin and, while clean, just lacked any posh feeling at all. Pillows were on the tiny side. Mattress was a tad firmer than we like it. Finally, corners and edges of the rooms carpeting needed a good going over with the vacuum hose extensions - but the carpet itself was a great choice visually! This could easily be a super super lovely hotel again. Just needs some reinvestment into creature comforts - for those of us who tend to be on the picky side.

The lobby is super cute - with an great layout and beautiful woodwork throughout. The room was adequate and clean. The bathroom was clean. Quiet nights rest for the most part. Good value. We just needed a safe, clean, cheap place to sleep for 8 hours, grab breakfast and get back on the road.

My room was clean and comfy. The bathroom looked a bit worn. Tub had a crack. Or hole that was filled with black epoxy. Seems like useing a white white epoxy would have looked better. I saw no glutin free options on the breakfast bar

Location was good. Room on second floor overlooking an outdoor area for cooking out. It was landscaped with trees that were in bloom. Charming and unexpected.

The property is an older one but the lobby is very pretty and everything was clean. The breakfast was fine, plenty to get us full for a day of driving.

It was an older facility but the front entrance door was sticking due to humidity. Also we had a hard time with the door at the ramp with the cart having a problem getting over the threshhold.

We didn't have a chance to eat breakfast there so I can't say if it was good or bad. The furnishings were comfortable and the bed was very comfortable as were the pillows.

There were no bath towels in the room (however when we called the front desk they were delivered immediately). Doors to rooms were open when we checked in. Otherwise, a pleasant stay.

Rooms were dated, however, clean and beds were comfortable. Great location right off the highway and close to the Deusenburg Car Museum. Would not hesitate to stay again if in the area.

Evening desk clerk smelled of smoke and looked a mess. Toilets flush like it's 1950, slooooow and maybe not at all. They need to work with the other hotel next door to get the road paved to Walmart. The porches could be enjoyed if cleaned up and improved.

Love the 'inn' feel they are trying to bring back. Has partially renovations. It's not all new but there are new bits and pieces. Rooms are larger than normal. Evening clerk at check-in was friendly. Night clerk was friendly, polite and professional. Lady in the morning at check out was friendly also. Hope they continue to update the rooms.

It could have been a little brighter in the lobby and halls.

It was easy to access with a grocery store nearby. I liked the fact that it wasn’t all shiney, glassy, and modernized. It felt like Imwas staying in an old, well preserved hotel!

There was no Kleenex in the room and the large trash can was missing the bag. The windows are old and you can here the semis getting off the interstate. The toilet is very close to the floor.

This hotel has been around for a while. It is quaint and done nicely. The front desk lady was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The microwave and fridge worked very well. The breakfast was really good.
