The facilities need updating. Bathroom seemed moldy, huge spider to greet us this morning. Couch was shabby, holes in the wallpaper, etc.

The furniture, carpets and exterior could all use updating. There were a couple of people smoking outside the building, which was a bit annoying. They may consider identifying a smoking area, so non-smokers can avoid exposure.

Didn't eat. Location is right off a major highway. There is shopping and restaurants in the immediate area as well. The facilities were clean.

Carpeting on floor needs to be replaced and bathtub needs to be replaced. Continental breakfast was okay; but eggs were watery. I was not comfortable with the tub.

Room was a little small but immaculately clean, check-in staff was super friendly and helpful and comp breakfast was very good with a decent selection, some of the best scrambled eggs I have had in long time and good coffee would easily stay again if in Cape Girardeau.

This was my second stay at this property and the bed was uncomfortable during my first stay. This particular stay the bed was much more comfortable and I had no issues. The only other thing that is a bit disappointing is that there is no elevator to reach the second floor. I know that going in, but it was a minor inconvenience.

Though an older property everything was clean and well maintained. The breakfast is above and beyond a lot of more expensive hotels that I've stayed at The staff were friendly and efficient.

While I appreciated the theory of having a window for the room the fact that it opened to the courtyard and everyone walking by could look right into your room. So we kept the drapes pulled shut the whole time. I suppose it's no different than a first floor room with a window that faces the outdoors, but it felt less private.

Breakfast was great. Staff at check-in and check-out were helpful and pleasant. Liked that two or more restaurants were in easy walking distance and gas station was directly across the street.

I didn't like that we kept trying to adjust our room temperature but it never changed so that was a bit annoying. I also felt like the front desk clerk was rude when I forgot my key in my room and couldn't get back into the building because I didn't know the front doors locked at a certain time, when I rang the bell and told her I couldn't get back in she told me to use my key, like I hadn't already thought of that. I also didn't like that the pool was only 4 ft 1.2 inches deep, we are just used to staying places with a deeper pool, but we did have it all to ourselves so that was a bonus. The hotel is older and needs some updating to the rooms particularly the bathroom area and the carpeting throughout but other than that we liked it and will likely stay there again.

I loved that this facility gives out free cookies and milk at 8pm for guests. The free breakfast was amazing, included eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, bagels, muffins, yogurt, granola bars, toast, coffee, juice, tea, hot chocolate, and milk with all the condiments you need. We liked that you can play billards, ping pong and Foosball on the second floor and the hallways are lined with vending and claw machines. The breakfast area has a lighted gazebo and 2 large fountains and is very esthetically pleasing for your eyes.

The staff was extremely friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. They have a great set up for breakfast. Perfect location.
