The Inn is located perfect walking distance to all the famous points of interest. It is decorated period correct. They have wonderful cookies and pastries. We did not feel any spirits, but it is said to be haunted.

Location was very interesting. Staff was well informed about the Inn as well as the town. Accommodations were appropriate to the town. The historic nature of the Inn was a bonus.

If I could give this 6*, I would. Beautifully restored Victorian house from 1875 in a charming Virginia City (after discovery of the Comstock silver lode). Andria our host is a historian, writer and has a huge depth of knowledge of VC and Nevada. We had wonderful chats over breakfast pastries and long into the evening. Absolutely loved our time here. Stayed in the Sam Davis (blue) room with stunning 100 mile view

The drive to Virginia City has a lot of hills and REALLY TIGHT turns, on one lane roads. If you are confident driving in snow or heavy rain more power to you but BE WARNED. Thankfully I arrived in broad daylight with great weather but there was a threat of snow and or freezing rain. I departed at night and there are few street lights along the route and high-beams can only do so much.

This a beautiful house with three bedrooms upstairs, each with a shower and commode. Very CLEAN. We had the privilege of meeting Andrea (house manager) who gave us a quick, thorough history of the house and the town. She gave us some recommendations for restaurants and meeting places. The town is small so we walked everywhere, and were able to see the town in a full day, then explore Carson City about 20 minutes away. It's a small-town vibe and many people were generally curious where we were from and very friendly.

Loved the layout of the house. Love how there’s a little fridge upstairs with water and Gatorade for the guests. Location is prime. Right above the main drag of Virginia City.

Nothing about the facility it was better than advertised.

One street over from the main concentration of stores, bars and restaurants that you'd wish to visit. Try the Cider factory for lunch or dinner down the street great food. The staff is super knowledgable about things to do and recommended the restaurant.

The stairs. But we knew it was an old home and they have small stairs. Just couldn’t navigate the coffee and stairs in the morning.

Stairs challenging. Breakfast first day not exceptional. Pre packaged waffle dry and a bit stale. 2 nd day had lots of fresh fruit, which was lovely.

Location was perfect. Host very welcoming and delightful to talk to. Knows a lot of history. The stairs were a bit difficult, definitely not for handicapped!

The onsite host Andria was incredibly welcoming and added immeasurably to our visit.. the property was lovely and very well appointed and we had a tasty breakfast of coffee and organic fresh fruit !

We didn’t see anything we didn’t like…We had a delightful experience.

The house was wonderfully restored and kept the early day look. It was comfortable and welcoming and so beautifully decorated with the period furnishings. We had the V&T Railroad room overlooking the garden below where we even saw a deer grazing. We were met at the door by a lovely hostess, Andria, who graciously saw to it that we had a very memorable three night stay. She was so interesting to visit with telling us about the history of the house and after our short time there we felt like we knew her for a long time. One very special moment was on the night before our early morning departure she brought a beautiful tray of muffins, fruit and cheese up to our room so we would have something to eat before we headed for our home in Arizona. She is the best!!!!
