Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Excellent location for walking to the marina, beach and downtown areas. Great views over the Bay from our room and the breakfast room. Parking very convenient and reasonably priced.

Older property, the sliding glass doors to the balcony are secured and will nit open.
Great location, nice view of the shoreline, the bay and skyline. Great murals all over downtown. While i was not there for the murals, they were exciting to see.

It was a little weird. There was obviously new, or newish reno’s, but never seemed completed. Amazing shower and sink/counter but old and kind of crappy ceiling, walls and floor. Paint was peeling a bit, black in some of the ceiling tiles. It was just weird. But overall felt like good value.
The location was great, we were looking out on the harbour and had some restaurants and bars within walking distance. The outdoor pool and deck was nice and they have a gorgeous bar that is all windows looking out at the harbour. Breakfast was also great! Lots of options, one of the best we’ve had at a hotel! The bed was comfortable and room was a nice size and clean. There was also laundry facilities but only one of the 4 washers worked and 2 of the 4 dryers. The change machine downstairs didn’t work so getting the quarters to do laundry was also a pain. They do have a nice lobby to sit with friends and socialize.

I didn't like that the room seems to be designed for a really tall person. I am 5' 3" and I had some difficulty getting into the high bed and I was unable to look out the peephole even standing on my tiptoes. That said, the toilet was very low to the ground. Also, since there are no overhead lights in the room, it would be great to have a brighter light on the desk so that you could see what you are working on...during the day with the drapes open, lighting wasn't a problem, but after dark, there really wasn't enough light to work at the desk.
Zeke at the front desk welcomed us warmly...always nice to deal with pleasant and friendly people. Refrigerator was nice and cold; although I didn't use the microwave, it was nice to have it. Room had a good view. Breakfast was ok and the room it was located in was nice.

The room was large but, music on Friday night til 1:30 am and Saturday night til 11:30 pm. Our room was located on 10 floor and there was a lot of walking on top of our heads.
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The parking was reasonable and breakfast was good.

Coffee provided for filter machine but pod machine provided with no pods so didn't match despite requesting at reception; needs kettle, tea bags, milk. Have to specifically ask for housekeeping to clean the room. Patchy WiFi

The room is exceptionally clean! Also I'd like to mention Kayla from the breakfast area. She was great, friendly and suggested areas where we could visit. The breakfast was excellent.

A minor point but the door to the outside deck was permanently locked. Also, like many hotels in Texas, the temperature was much colder than it could be.
Excellent location, right by the ocean (and marinas) and easy walking distance to restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful and our room was comfortable. Good easy-access parking to the covered lot. Breakfast had decent variety of foods.
