Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bathroom mirror was so high on the wall that I couldn’t see my face in the mirror. The toilet was positioned so that I couldn’t comfortably stand in front of the sink. The photos online do not look like what I experienced in my room, so perhaps it was only my unit that has these features. The only other inconvenience was that, although there was a clothes-hanging bar, there were no hangers, so I had to lay coats & other clothing on the table. I got such a good rate for the room that these things did not bother me too much; I just thought they were odd.
The price and cleanliness matters to me the most, and both were great. The refrigerator was larger than what I usually get in hotels! Also, I loved that I could park my car right in front of my unit. It was very convenient for unloading/loading, and if you like to keep an eye on your car. The location is not right in the heart of town where the shops & eateries are, but this town is so small that the drive is very brief. The property & its surroundings felt safe for this lone female traveler. It was also peaceful when I was there, although I think I heard a train once.

There was no breakfast. Wish there was a little something. Toiletries smelled like a guy. Not that was bad. But I’m a girl so would have liked maybe something less masculine smelling.
Bed was super comfortable. Lots of tv channels. Great shower. Room Got warm quickly and I couldn’t hear any neighbors. Was really a fantastic experience at a great value!! I will definitely stay again. And will tell my friends

Spread some gravel in the parking lot. It had some standing water and a little muddy after a rainstorm.
This is an older property but it is well maintained. The room was clean and comfortable, not too fancy but it is a good place to spend the night. The location was convenient for our visit.

The RV park behind the Motel is mostly full timers, didn’t look like the photo on the website however, no noise or any issues. Motel is close to the train tracks but not too disruptive. The parking lot had large mud puddles, would be nice if it were graveled or paved.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was hot with significant water pressure . We had a change of plans and needed to leave a day early, the manager was very nice and helpful , he was accommodating and gave a refund for the extra night without any hassle.

Just a winter thing but the roads were not in great shape for driving without AWD or 4wd
Amazing location with easy access to town and the interstate. Bed was very comfortable and the ac/heat was perfect. 10/10 stay here again.

The heating unit was very loud and probably should be updated at some point. I kept turning it off so I could hear the TV but it was so drafty I couldn't stand the cold breeze.
Great little place with friendly staff and a mellow vibe. The room was ridiculously clean, the beds are some of the most comfortable I've ever slept on and the full-sized fluffy bath towels felt luxurious. What a value, the price was unbeatable. Add their pet friendly atmosphere and call it a win-win!

This in not a luxury resort. It is a motel right out of the Fifties, but with Wifi. It was clean, comfortable and affordable. The staff was helpful, we slept well and the shower was hot. This was the second time staying there on drives to and from Idaho and Utah. We will likely stay there again.

When we arrived, we were told that the hot water was not working and that we needed to wait a couple of hours. Also, the train is very close and a bit noisy at night. There wasn't a fan in the bathroom.

Only thing was the bulb in the light next to the bed was burned out. Other than that, spot on
