Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No elevator, Although the staff carried my bag upstairs. It would be nice to have coffee/tea in the room.
The hotel provided transportation to the near nearby Bangor airport. The rooms were a nice size and very clean. Ii enjoyed the swimming pool.

Street-side rooms are noisy as large trucks and motorcycles are non-stop except midnight to 4am.
Affordable and clean. Convenient location for a stop-over or airport.

The TV did not work. There was no elevator, which could make loading/unloading belongings difficult.
Location was easy to access, had hot cocoa in the lobby, and a few good grassy spots to walk a dog. The room had a small sofa and extra table which was nice. Dog friendly hotel.

Paying for breakfast. Makes the hotel look a little cheap to the patrons.
I was surprised to pay for breakfast. I have stayed there for the past six years and never had to pay before. It was the only hotel on my trip to and from Florida that breakfast was not included. Not happy with that little detail.

Was Traveling with kids and the hotel only offers Roku TV which was constantly buffering and freezing. Kids had iPads to play some games but the Wi-Fi was also not able to function properly
Staff were super friendly and the pool was great. Complimentary coffee I. The lobby and in house restaurant were nice touches too.

I am a solo traveler, and they decided to put my room next to a bunch of children. I was not a happy camper, to say the least. I feel staff should always keep this in mind when picking rooms for guests! That's all I heard was kids the whole time.

This is my second stay recently. The first stay was exceptional, no complaints. This stay my room was dirty, it was loud, i have kids with me and the room was the farthest room from the pool. This room didnt have cable like the other room did. I dont like that they dont have any hooks to hang your used towels or bathing suits to dry. And there is no microwave, which when you are staying multiple days is very inconvenient, especially with kids who are constantly hungry. My tub was dirty and there was something brown all over the bathroom door on the top. The carpet was a bit dirty in spots. This room was loud i can hear traffic and its right near an entrance door. My room key didnt work for my room the second day. It got me in the building but not my room. Our room was 3 hallways away from the front desk, so we had to walk with all of our stuff to the front desk to get a new key.
The pool was clean. The room was clean except for the couple of things mentioned. The stagg is exceptionally nice.

Guest Wi-Fi is slower than mobile data in the area.
Clean rooms, nice facilities. All I would ask for, for the price. Much nicer shape than the Ramada got to be. Obvious that work has been done since then, and sounds like they're in the process of more. Microwaves to be added to the rooms soon.

I can't think of anything. Honestly I think my stay was perfect.
The entire facility is obviously well cared for. It's remarkably clean and the staff are, in my experience, quite friendly. The room was also very comfortable! I was pleased with the amenities provided.

The only thing I didn't like was how far away I had to walk whenever we went to and from our room.
