Street noise level very loud. Building is old. Parking quite a challenge.

I don’t think they sweep the rooms, ours had hair/dust. Could have been cleaner. Not the motels fault but the people staying above us were noisy and thumping around all night

Good location never moved car But if you plan on going anywhere else in Santa Cruz you're gonna lose your parking so that's the only bad part there is no parking you have to get your car parked and leave it there cars were even parked too close to mine not even in a parking spot

Parking is first-come, first-serve and space is limited. When we arrived, there were no spaces available and we had to park in a metered space. The following afternoon, I was able to find a space in the lot. Other guests were having a good time outside with music; we were able to hear it quite well with the window closed. While the rooms are clean, maintenance needs some additional attention on the inside. Final note: bring your own toiletries. The ones provided smell wonderful, but are dreadful to use.

The location is FANTASTIC! Located only a few blocks away from the Boardwalk, my family and I were able to leave our car parked and walk to the beach and wharf with ease. If we needed to go further, the metro stop was right in front of the building. On the corner is a great eatery/market where we got coffee in the morning. Also around the corner, about two blocks away, are all day parking lots. We used the $5 lot on check-out day to continue our adventures around the city. Make sure you park early; the lots fill up quickly. At the motel, the staff were very pleasant and attentive to our needs and concerns. The grounds are very pretty (lots of flowers blooming) and my children enjoyed the solar heated pool.

The only issue is the parking. I stay in a lot of hotels in Santa Cruz for work. This is the first one that claims to have free parking, which it does. But, not enough parking for all the rooms they have. If you arrive and no parking is available you must use metered parking on the street. I have an issue with this policy..

The floors could have been washed, I prefer to walk bare footed, so after only a few minutes of walking around my feet were all black. Maybe having a mat at the entrance, and the floors being cleaned would be awesome! Another thing, the Coffee machine wouldn't work when I tried to activate it. I put in the coffee, poured in water and pressed the button to brew but, nothing happened. Maybe put instructions?

A great location only a few minute walk from the beach. Not to mention close by is a corner store selling Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Close enough for a good breakfast and bring it back to you room if you want to as well.

Wifi could have been better.

The Staff were very friendly. Our room was cozy and clean. We loved the pool. The location is perfect for Santa Cruz. The air conditioning was awesome. We loved this spot and will definitely be back.
