Wish there was a hot tub. Husband prefers a firmer bed, but I liked it.

Traveled here with the whole family for my student to visit the University of Iowa. Hotel was short drive to campus, rooms were clean and had everything we needed, staff responded fast when we needed a light bulb and a plunger, breakfast was fresh and had what we wanted. We used the pool and the fitness room every day. Close to walking paths by the river. We expect to stay here again when we visit over the next four years, especially considering the price.

The room was large and the staff was good about accommodating my elderly mother. Carpet seemed old and dirty in our room. The bed was very comfortable.

Breakfast was just ok. "Eggs" were watery and kind of grainy in texture, packaged pastries were dry. Be aware that the property is pet friendly - we heard some barking and whining. It wasn't prolonged and didn't keep us from sleeping, but it was noticeable for a while.

Room and beds were comfortable. Check in/out were easy. Location was convenient.

Fruit and or more selection of other items

This was only thing we didn’t enjoy. With the many contractor and workers staying here there should be an attendant at breakfast . No fruit of any kind was on breakfast bar. It was either wiped out in first hour or very little in the first place. Everything else was satisfactory.

When taking a shower, the tub filled up with water not properly draining and it took about 20 mins to fully drain making it hard for someone else to shower right after. The rooms could use a little updating and the bathroom is in need of a big update as the toilet seat lid broke right off and was propped when we arrived.

We had a deluxe queen suite and it was spacious for the weekend. Having this size room with the extra living room area was very enjoyable for a family of 4.

Pillows are hard. The bath tub is very slick. The safety bar wouldn’t do any good if a slip happened as it did. No bible, Kleenexes, tiny bit of shampoo, conditioner. Wasn’t a planned stay or would bring my own.

Breakfast was good. Had many selections. Very good. The room was clean. We were asked about floor preference. The staff was so friendly. The lobby was welcoming. It was quiet, no noise in hallway.

Rooms were not very clean. There was something all over the door in the bathroom It was rust color so I am hoping not blood. Urine on the toilet seat and on the rim. The hallway door was also really dirty. Floors in the bathroom was a little gross. House keeping also never checked to pick up dirty towels or give new ones or empty the trash. Room could use a little tlc. I stay at this hotel a year prior and it was really clean. They did do a good job at making the bed and stocking towels a set for each quest.

Front desk was really nice. rooms are easy to find. Nice room layout. Quit rooms didn't really hear anything outside the room. There was no strong odors. Beds where okay

Refrigerator noise It was difficult to find staff in the morning

For our purpose of stay, the location was excellent. Stay was friendly upon arrival, check out, we couldn't find anyone. AC worked and wasn't extremely loud. What was loud was the refrigerator. It was very irritating to hear that all night. Additionally, we heard the sound of water leaking and came to the conclusion that it was from the refrigerator. The room was clean. The facility was clean. Breakfast was good. They did have hot eggs and bacon along with your typical continental breakfast items.
